well IT RUNS!

spent the weekend under it over it and with it putting the motor in. got it in the hole on sat night then running on sunday, swaped out the j3 for the new one with a new tune for the new cam and then drove it. the cam is lumpy im not sure if it needs to be tuned out or what but i like it! sounds so tuff, but its now a little loud for my liking. ill got on that later.

Had a great weekend! couldnt have gone better.

left for sydney on friday after work around 7pm and started driving. we ended up staying about a hour out of eastern creek at a rest stop around 3am then went to meet up with benj untill we heard from trent (EBI347) top bloke!

washed the cars had a feed and sank some piss.

ready for sunday.
Image

big thanks to the organisers of afd and fordmods team, was a great day. even tho we got there a little late all i needed to do was park then chin-wag.

i dont know if its a big or bigger than the vic afd but i do like it being at a racetrack

Fantastic on the top of the mountain. with thick fog at the bottom.

every time i go around the track it leaves me in awe that racecars can go so fast around there.

anyway from bathurst we headed home,
Image
i didnt rush just cruised along got home around 10pm after leaving bathurst at 10am.

i cant fault the car or the new motor, i got 12-13l/100km on lpg only thing im going to change is my exhaust, at 110 there is a huge drone so thats got to go.

again what a fantastic weekend cant wait to do it all over again next year.

Hey Sean.

It was certainly great to catch up with you again and to meet some new friends as well.

Your wagon is certainly a credit to you and goes to prove that you can mod and drive a car like they were made to be driven.

Good to see you made it home safely and that you enjoyed your short stay in Sydney.

Cheers
BenJ

ok start of the month i may have spent a little bit on ebay usa. well it all showed up today so i put all the new shinny bits in.

Image

it looks and feels like its good quality, also being non crimping parts there wont be any hassles when it comes to putting the 0gauge in.

here is why i needed to change it.

boot
Image

under bonnet
Image

the old positive terminal had been sitting against the hood lining too so that's another reason to fix it.
Image

so now it all looks like this.

Boot
Image

Grounds in the boot.
Image

Bonnet
Image

i also put a 4Chan a,mp that came with the whole sub setup when i bought it, same with the 6x9s
Image

Image

so thats how it sits now. all i need is some 0gauge so i can move the amp off the box and move the battery under the floor, any recommendations for good 0gauge im open to. i need 30-50ft. at the same time ill be putting a new sub box in and see how much louder i can get it!
