ok.. so its been a while since i put anything up but i have been quietly working away..

i now have a full exhaust with no name extractors and a hollow cat... (no idea how that happened  ) makes a huge difference.

lowered the front end and bought springs to go into the back

did the shocks in the rear... had no idea quite how far gone the old ones were...

Ive also pulled out all the rear trims and found my dam boot leak.. its coming in from the rear quarter window sills... im thinking silicon will fix that.

put an ea bonnet on and have 2 quarters to go on to match up and get rid of the dents.

its all goin slow but its not costing alot so im happy.. and i give my mates el a good fun for his money now so thats a good thing.

things im working on are it looks like i can get a 4.11 LSD diff for $150 so that's something im thinking will happen in the next few months.

now... i never want to do another pedal box in my life... well this week anyway. lol

i have my t5 going in next weekend so i decided to get the pedal box out the way.. and it took 4hours. and i didn't take the dash out.. it seemed like too much work so i only sorta took it out where i had to.

and a warning to anyone looking at doing it themselves. i never thought of saying my car is lpg so all that messy wires down there make it interesting to say the least.. i also think they have used the clutch hole in the firewall... ill sort that out next weekend tho.

well thats all i have today... just thought ide say somethin

ok. so its been a while and not much has happened.. i now am loving the t5.. well worth the money and am in desperate need for a new diff.

i picked up some clear indicators and put them in and have started the ball rolling with a few other mods. just not sure how fast things can happen.

alright... ive been busy now.

anyone who has been on the ford cruises lately will know that the cars been looking shabby... and i got sick of that but couldn't do anything about it. well i did get around to doing something

before

Image

the doner car... not bad for $600

Image

the two

Image

so that's how it started. i found a really nice looking car on ebay that had good paint and was the same color and then striped it. now i almost didn't want to strip it. it was a good car. strong motor and good gearbox. but its parted now.

heres what left.

Image

one good bonus from buying a whole doner car is the surprises you find.. like a spotless interior and that all the front end of the car has been replaced with brand new ford parts 4 years ago! after a front end crash.

anyway i got to work on a Monday off and by the end of the day my car looked alot better than ever!

after

Image

i also got a bit bored and striped out the interior

Image

now i never thought that taking out a few seats and carpet would make it soo much faster... its all back in now but ill always remember the week of not having anything in my car...

now after all that was said and done apart from a few little touch up bits i wanted to make it look a little bit more how i like it. so first we painted the front grille center black. sorry i don't have a photo then i thought ide get some new tail lights ans paint the numberplate garnish black... wow what a difference..

Image

then i found some ba xr6 rims in e series offset. 4 with ok tires $380

Image

that's most of it now. ive done a few little things but not lots. ill keep posting as i work.
