Just thought I would post up my current intake setup, can't believe the average im getting 10.9L/100km Exhaust is going to be installed next Wednesday, because im impatient and can't wait to get extractors but im thinking if krazed still wanted to sell the FG manifold and parts I will get extractors when that gets installed just need some time to save $$. |

Thanks for posting pics of the superpro front control arm bushes, BA Classic! Im going to be doing this to my wagon very soon. Getting the steering wobble at around 90km/h under light braking really badly, hoping these new bushes fix this.

"Baboon" that was one of the things i noticed a difference in but the wobble could also be various other things like warped rotors, shocks/springs or steering rack etc. but the bushes are a great start.
I had the front shocks replaced at the same time so its hard to say if they were what eliminated the wobble, I'm guessing it helped. Krazed - I had your old Exhaust & Cat installed yesterday, yet to take photos and upload but should get some up tomorrow. I cant wipe the grin off my face 4490's are next might even express my interest for some on WTB but probably end up with an eBay set, within the next week or so I will also be acquiring a set of BA XR6 MKII wheels which should look alright(doing a swap for the cars old 18" GF7's) Krazed - I noticed that slight buzzing rattle when the car is first started, assuming that's what you were talking about but it goes away after its warmed up. Also thinking about having someone install a camber kit to the front end and take a look at the sway bar links when the new wheels are aligned and balanced, still getting that slight knock on preload. Would any body know if there is a way to work out what length the adjustable sway bar links should be set at? I read in some previous posts that it could be because the front sway bar is 30mm. I have the length of the sway bar links at 66mm and the ride height is sitting around 330mm, thinking of making the links like 55mm or less which will drop the ride height and hopefully eliminate the knocking but still just trail and error. Just on a side note if I were to be missing a rear passenger side spring retainer , would that possibly transfer load to the front driver side were the knocking is coming from?(Suggested to me buy a mates dad) |

Is that rattle coming from the rear? If not, then it's probably something else lol the rattle I had was because of the super tight fight at the rear, so it was touching ever so slightly, and got worse when revs were low due to rocking sensation (if you understand what I mean lol)
I've found out the 4495's won't fit an FG, so they're up for grabs if you want them. Send me a message with an offer and I'll let you know. You still wanting the growler and FG Manifold conversion also, further on down the track?

Hey guy's had a few pictures on my phone I thought i should post and just wanted to say how f-ing lazy are these guys, {DESCRIPTION}
also a storm that rolled past a week ago, {DESCRIPTION} Now whats your opinion on window stickers found a funny one that I had to put on the car, I think any are fine as long as there not your family stickers... {DESCRIPTION} I have to take some more photos of the new exhaust that was installed probably next weekend when the extractors go in. I've had a good look haha but that's all, just thinking about taking it to a specialist and having it checked.
Getting to the diff on the car seems like it could be time consuming as the whole IRS system has to come out and as much as I would love to stop the single peggers its just looking further and further away from being done. Hopefully I can hold out until tax time and have some proper work done on the car like getting the diff checked/installed, fg manifold or a custom plenum, cams and a tune. It would be great to have what Trav did with his BF. I'm hopefully getting an FG in 2-3 weeks when I have a look at auctions (can get ex police XT's for about 13k, they come with LSD, ZF 6 and tuned suspension).

So the bacon gets all the option box's ticked haha that would be about right, I guess I will only be limited by the amount of money I throw at the car, would love to be faster then a comonwhore SS and have the car look the same as it does now hehe.
I hope you find one sounds like a nice step up from the BA, I'm going to try and keep my car until I'm on my open License then get a turbo of some sort or even turbo the BA But of course it will come down to cost 13k isn't too bad. I mean an '04 BA XR6t Ute is about the same price but that. The frigen ZF 6 is the main thing that would make me buy an FG or BF. So after some reading I think in the not so near future I will be looking at getting a BF xr6 MkII. I will look at a trade in for the BA, but might just blow out another loan and have both models haha time to start car hunting

Looking at XR6 BF MKII's with the ZF 6 speed, its scary how quickly I convinced myself haha i'll Keep My BA and finish paying of my loan which is almost done and should be able to get something around September next year I know I shouldn't even think about it now but I can't help it I mean the BA is a great car but the auto 4 speed is driving me crazy almost feels like it's on its way out
but on the other hand if it s**t itself tomorrow I'll have the perfect excuse to upgrade. I also feel like going on a rant about not being able to drive a turbo but its mainly my fault as I should already be on my open license or at least in the final year of my greens |
