So my el ghia got written off in the floods that came through victoria early this month
so ive opted for an upgrade but at the same time wanted to save money
YES!
i brought an ex taxi

lets have a look

Image

so its a march 2005 ba mkII Fairlane Ghia
all the goodies of mkII
onyx black interior panels
extra chrome on doors
brushed alloy cluster and clock
chrome inner door handles
IRS
Sports suspension
8 way memory drivers seat + 6 way passenger
reverse sensors

and has also had optioned
Sat Nav
Heavy duty tow bar(not tow pack)
direct injected gas

bit of history:

Car was brought private in 05' and was converted into a taxi in late 07' where it became an executive cab by appointment decommissioned as a cab dec 2010

since ive had the car i have discovered it is still on the original motor (578,348 k's) and has had a brand new auto fitted very recently and that it was originally dark blue

at this point in time i have stripped the interior completely do re-do all wiring and cut out taxi crap, also wanted to clean everything (i think you all know why)

PLANS:
I'm sure this is the section most of you want to read about

well i have purchased a brandnew bf GT-P catback exhaust which is being fitted tuesday or wednesday

ba xr6 rear skirt is being installed some time in the near future just need to modify ALOT lol

then will come rims now im stuck at what to get to be honest

and atlast a re spray in EGO

to be honest man drives better than my old car no noises no unexpected bumps from the motor, it will remain stock until it dies which i dont see that happening any time soon

good pickup Kenay....
I woulda loved a lane but nothing around when I bought mine.....

EGO would look nice...... and all those lovely options you have.....

500k is nothing... Thats actually low for a cab....
I had 850k on my AU when I sold that.. Original motor too (matching numbers).

My current BA has unknown Kays due to the XR Cluster but thats showing almost 500k too now...
Mine was a factory Taxi Pack so came from the factory Yellow but that has recently changed :)
