Hey guy,

Can anyone tell me how much work would be involved in changing my seat frames? I have sedan seats in my ute.. They dont have the flip forward function..

Would it require me to remove all the covers and cushions and swap the entire frame? Or can you swap the hinge bit?

Sorry haven't had a chance to have a real good look yet! Had to put a large bag behind the seat tonight and it was a royal pain in the a***!!
So i thought i'd just ask.. So many wise people on here, thought it would save me the hassle of working it out myself! *cough* lazy *cough*

Cheers Paul.

The INTERIOR looks amazing!!!

Not a fan of the XR seats, never have been, but they're better than stock... nothing compared to the CLOTH variety, which still rules :P

The XLS as this ute is, has XR seats as standard- just a diffrent trim to XR. I have XLS seats in my wagon and they are heaps better in support than the stock XT seats my wagon came with. I assume your talkng about the leather covers? Im not a big fan of them either, shame they dont come with semi leather just on the edges of the seat/headrests etc.

Yeah, the leather XR seats aren't the flashiest ones going around, but anything is better than stock, I wish they brought out cream coloured Xr6 seats that support my interior trim... blast...

I rather like his car.... I got a Sedan BA XT (The BA Falcon XT6 Ghia... as I call it) same colour!

Love the colour!!!!

have seen FG seats fitted to B series bases. These were out of a G6 i believe, and were cream. so all is not lost.

All FG seats fit inside BA series, I've seen a FG Dashboard in a BA... nothing worked... it was too complex to operate through the engine bay.

Defiantly going to look into written off G6's now man!! I never thought into it that much!!!

Yep thats spot on Mont about the XLS seats, the leather looked nice but was hot as hell in summer and fkin freezing in winter. You can get leather/suede but i think thsat would feel the same.. After i took the leather out i actually retrimmed the XLS seats with FG FPV covers, well they say FPV covers on the tag in side but look like XR without the logo... They were brand new genuine covers.. Perfect fit as far as general shape goes, but they attach to the frame a little differently but if you can sew it's not hard to make them work.

Frames are the same.

Think there is an interior thread somewhere that has a G6E cappa/black combo.. Looks fkin sweet!!
