Hi all, I've been a member a while and finally got back on here after a leave of absence and thought I would throw up some stuff about my XR.

2003 BA XR6 Turbo sedan
T5 Manual (onto the 2nd box now)
Leather XR interior
6 stack Premium Sound ICC
CI Organic twin plate clutch
John Bowe SL/SSL Springs
RAPID Systems V3.5 Kit inc 4in intake, battery relocation kit, High flow cooler (hhuuugggeee) 3in cold side pipes, 2.5in hot side pipes
RAPID systems surge tank and 044 pump
PWR Expansion Tank
Red High Temp Chemical resistant hoses
APS blow off valve
NIZPRO valve springs
G4 8 spot calipers, 356mm two piece rotors, braided lines
Stock dump, 3.5" metal cat, twin hot dogs, stock rear muffler.
Debadged sides & rear
Dark, dark tints
Black suade roof lining and all plastics to match factory Leather
18x8" APEC wheels, Falken tyres, Whiteline sway bars
Power steering cooler
probably more stuff that i am forgetting right now..

All adds up to 304rwkw on 12psi (spiking from 6psi) with 60lb Siemens to come yet if I decide to keep it..

Comment/questions appreciated...
Cheers

Yeah they were, at the time was running twin ricer cannons on the rear and no surge tank, now with a stock muffler on the rear and the surge tank in the front its better..

RAPID Systems (chef from here) chris does great work and will bend over backwards to help hs customers out, highly recommended.

There's a set of 6x 60lb's for sale in the 'For Sale' forum for a good price, might be worth a look :)

it would be re-flashed with a custom tune, you dont need aftermarket management on these

ok fellas since was requested an update is here to serve....

Had the xr dyno tuned with nothign changed from the above and the results were....infuriating to say the least...
It managed to only pull a shamefull 170 something kw at the rears, same tune as before, same equipment which lead to me starting to tear chunks of my hair out  trying to know where the other HALF odd of my supposed power had gone...

So long story short I cracked the s***s hard and work began again..

With Chris for RAPID Systems we tore the Jaffa apart in his garage, fitted up a 3.5" custom dump and exhaust to the diff then split it to stock twin size over the diff for easy of installation and to quiet it down, WAY TOO NOISEY 3.5" straight through!! :| :|

Threw on a 50mm External Waste Gate & Screamer pipe, new Cat and cleaned up a few issues under the bonnet. Fitted up a Surge Tank and 044 pump, took the G4 brakes off and put stock wheels back on, nice and stealth looking now hahaha :P

Turbo off & the 'gate

Back on..

New exhaust

How the bay is looking now

And after all that the retune still has not been done, due to saving for a house, half the claimed power is still AWOL & generally have lost interest in the XR as it stands... Bit like I am in limbo with what to do with/to it....

Cheers Guys

Ryan

I noticed you are running the APS blow off valve. I am looking at getting one of these....are they really quiet and do they stop the turbo flutter you get from having a RAPID style intake with pod?

Lock nut pm will be sent re: sensitive nature comments...

But i'm as stumped as everyone else who knows the car too mate..

Leighm the APS unit is nice sounding, kinda like a short hard sneeze but without the ricey tuuuu-tuuuu sneeze sounding... I recommend them as they are an excellent piece of gear mate.

atm looking at getting one of my mates who has his own tuning company to have a play with the 1's & 0's and see what we can come up with...

Me thinks I have put too much time money, blood & sweat into the Jaffa to just walk away :D
