Gday guys, after 5 years of Mazda ownership I'm back in a Ford
 Back in '09 I traded my EF Fairmont on a Mazda 323 hatchback but after a recent night out on the town that ended with my Mazda being vandalised I have upsized once again to an EL Fairmont Ghia.    I picked this up the other day, it's a 1 owner and runs very nice. Not much planned for it really.... just tint at the moment. It's just for daily duties and cart all the kids crap around on weekends.

Very clean and original car - how's the chrome strips holding up ??

The chrome strips are pretty good actually. The exterior is pretty good for its age, it's spent the last 5 years in an underground carpark. The front bumper has popped the sides out due to old-person parking lol
He had the drivers seat recovered and it's been well maintained overall... just got a few little things wrong with it like a faulty rear window switch, cracked door spear and worn bonnet & boot struts. $2800 with 7 months rego and 217,000k's

wow that is smick! should look at putting in some cornering lamps as an easy mod.

Cheers, I've fixed the window switch and replaced the struts but after driving it for a few days I reckon the suspension is original lol
New shocks and springs are next....

I've always liked Speed sensitive power steering - how are you finding it ?

I lowered the old girl and replaced the front wheel bearings today.... rides super smooth
