Ok Gas system is installed and wasn't too happy with it to begin with and with good reason too.

They bloody put an EmmeGas System on instead :(

I thought initially ok so this might be something new Sprint Gas using EmmeGas converter or something rang Sprint Gas and no its not still using the OMVL R90 with the 29x ECU, so rang back the place, oh we didn't realise you wanted a Sprint Gas system on the car..... f**k Hell, I said to the guy I asked for the Sprint Gas system when I initially made enquiries about it month or 2 ago and when I booked the car in and when I dropped it off, sounds to me like there was a communication error but seem to keep coming back to me that i didn't specify the Sprint Gas system so Emmegas was used instead  anyway, car is back in today as I'm posting this getting the EmmeGas system taken out and the Sprint Gas System put in, only thing is I have to fork out another $100 for it again  not happy.

On another note have replaced the Spark Plugs and Leads and in the short time I drove it seem to respond better :)

So whats next? when the rebate comes back will look at upgrading speakers, replacing wiper blades and holders, tune (maybe J3). also tossing up about a cam but not sure what would work on gas any suggestions?

Ok just got home from picking up the car with the Sprint Gas System installed the guy was trying to tell me that the EmmeGas system was just as good or just close to being as good as but I didn't really believe him. Needless to say I was right and the Sprint Gas system will pull all the way to the redline on gas only slightly quickly as petrol so I'm very impressed.

Ok so its been a while since I've updated this, not much has happened to it and not much more may happen to it at the moment got a few things in the mix

Anyway the few small updates I have are that some bastard ran into me while I wasn't in the car missed the rear drivers door and got the wheel arch instead, how they missed the door is beyond me as you'll see from the pics

Also the ABS isn't working seems theres an error with the rear wheel sensors both of them, then discovered that they weren't there in the first place  anyway trip to u-pull-it solved that got EB ones and still sensor errors and also tonewheel or whatever gives the sensors the ability to read the speed anyway have a set of EF ones which I'll put on when I can.
now have a working horn too another upullit job there going to upgrade to dual horns

Next thing is to look at getting the 6 gague cluster and install that

I'll leave a few pics from a photoshoot I did down at Rapid Bay til next time

Ok small update, firstly the brake booster went so $33 and an hour later it was fixed

now just over a week later the trans decides it doesn't want to shift from 2nd to 3rd or 4th, checked the oil level in the trans and it was down a bit so topped that up and its still doing the same, changed the ECU because that was throwing up errors left right and center (well not quite but one of them was faulty ECU).
So... Could it be one of the solenoids in the trans or would it be that the trans is stuffed?
Either way its gonna be fun

cheers for any help

not sure if you got it working by now (u probably did) but if your speedo stops working after doing some mix and match wiring on the right hand side connector that goes into the cluster you could have well fried a wire (i did and had to change my entire gli wagon loom in the dash from an ef loom to the el

As you can see the engine bay is really clean, might be trying to hide something only time will tell
310k on the clock
Pacemaker extractors and some sort of exhaust
It has been lowered but I'm not sure by how much or what springs its got
Interior is in good nick

Now the not so good things
The door seals on the drivers door and passenger rear door need to be re-attached
Few shopping centre dings some doors aren't 100% but that will soon be fixed
The drivers power window wouldn't go up smoothly (fixed now thanks to MadMatt)
Air-Con needs to be re-gased
Spare Tyre is bald bald
It needs a wash
The CD player was wired up wrong and it can stay on while the cars off
Only has steelies (have rims to go on as somepoint)
Rooflining isn't the best again soon will be fixed

Price $1200

Things to do:
LPG Conversion
Better Stereo
Replace Roof Lining
Aftermarket Head Lights
Replace some doors and rear bumper
Maybe a Climate Control Conversion to
T5 conversion

Any comments or suggestions on what I should do will be appreciated :D

At the moment the pacies are sitting in the back of a wagon waiting to go on my EL, since the EF is no longer with us :(
