Is that the black Ford badge you currently have on your car or has someone knocked the badge off?

Actually, that is my new 'invisible' Ford Badge. :D

The Dark Blue badge was coming loose, so I have removed it for now.

Well, seeing as you asked soooooo nicely LOL.

Wheels
After much debate with myself as to the best way to achieve a finish I am happy with, and not spend several hundred hours sanding and polishing, prepping and painting, I have now settled on an achievable outcome that I can live with.

Knowing that CSA Prowlers are prone to cracking and buckling has influenced my thoughts a great deal and I have decided to go for a finish that will look great as it drives by, but would look a tad rough up close. Long term I will keep an eye out for another set of wheels, but I do like the Prowlers, and they will stay with me for the short term.

I will have some progress pics during the week.

As the chasers had retreads on them fitted some turbo blades, but have found that one of the tires has a HUGE flat spot. So I will either swap out that tire, or just bolt the Prowlers back on with the odd spare, in their semi stripped state, as I need to drive up the coast during the week.

MMM Rear Bar
This weekend I was able to visit SWC again, and we trial fitted the rear bar.

As a result of the trial fit, the tail pipe outlet will be widened towards the centre, and the hole for the towbar will be filled slightly on the right side. A small bit of material will be scalloped out from the inside edge under the tow bar to allow for the inside towbar bolt to be screwed in, and the rear bolt ill be shortened a little so it can be slid into place.

SWC will then fill the small gap from the upper edge of the bar to blend the two bars together. When that is done, and after a final trial fitment again, I will be bringing the bar home to commence paint prep.

Guess I better finish the front bar before that Hmmmmm.

Cheers
BenJ

I like your wheels, but don't have the spare $$$$ for them.

I could pay you in weekly instalments? LOL

Good luck with the sale.

Prowlers with the odd spare and also is someone thinking of having something resprayed considering all the badges are missing and you have no rear wiper?

and is that swc's old bumper design? or not

I have 3 spare tailgates to choose from for a paint job. The original one on the wagon now is stuffed full of bog and is not worth fixing.

The rear bumper is explained earlier on.
