Well, good news!

I installed the LPG wiring last night, and it worked beautifully.

It is such a goooood feeling to go and fill up your car and only pay $25.

I went for a good drive to test how it went, and I have to say, that down low I think it goes better on LPG than it does on Petrol, but gets a tad breathless as the revs increase.

Overall I think the driveability is good on LPG and am happy at this point.

I only have one small issue regarding the Fuel Guage, and will check this out this afternoon.

I will get a photo of the rats nest of wiring on the front passenger floor, and then show it all tucked away after I tidy it all up this afternoon.

While I was out messing with the cars, i also swapped the steering wheels, so the sports wheel is now in the Wagon. Much better! Just have to choose a nice gear knob to go with the wheel.

Cheers
BenJ

Nice work mate! look forward to seeing the pics.

Do you mind using the red sports wheel or do you think you might get a black one at a later date.

I like the Red and Black Sports Wheel. And I think a touch of Red in the interior will give a needed lift. I will be looking for a Black/Red gear knob and probably using Red LEDs in the dash etc.

LPG fuel gauges are mostly bad at the best of times Ben. All my cars LPG gauges work different to each other and are never accurate at all. I only ever judge how full it is by how many k's I have done.
Running til empty and noting the range is the best way - do a few city/highway runs.
The scuba tank setup is certainly not very accurate - about 20kms+ after full, it steadily drops and sits around a third to quarter of a tank.

Well . . . . Ahhh . . . . Fiend, what can I say. Thanks for the effort mate. While your . . . Ahhhh . . . particular taste in things cannot be ignored, I will search for something a little more subtle, like the BMW one.

Snap0964, I had actually wired up the Fuel Guage relay correctly and then wired up the connectors behind the dash in reverse LOL.

So the fuel guage was doing all sorts of shenanigans. Now that I have corrected the wiring at the relay end, as you have indicated, the tank is now holding steady at approx a third.

As you have suggested, I will have to work out the approx range by running it dry a few times.

Ok, PICS.

This is the LPG wiring as tested and all hooked up and working. I used a spare Antenna Height switch to turn the LPG system on and off.

and with it all tucked away behind the ECU in the pillar cavity.

These pics show the Sports Steering wheel in the wagon.

I also swapped in the EB11 Black Climate Control Modual and Black Rocker Switches.

And here are a couple more general ones. Just because I like them.

And for those interested, this is how the Red EB Sedan looks now.

Yeah, must admit I started semi-seriously with the BMW one and then lost the plot real quick...................

In my defense ----
You did say red and black - you have to be more descriptive in your posts dude. How do you expect anyone to help by simply specifying black and red? It's your own fault.... You know what I'd get you for bloody Christmas if not sitting broken a*** in a hovel of my own self inflicted mess?
Yeahp.
A bloody shinny black dogs head with glowing red eyes, that's what.
(Read as "Fiend is bored with having no bloody car to piss about with...")

Did you miss the bit where I asked if you had considered taking the side skirts off and chopping the centre and adding 70-80mm to them? Or did I miss the reply? Is, in fact, the lack of reply indicative of your answer?

And note with respect that the angle you've parked the wagon over the driveway is pushing the right rear up to give it that lowered effect you love so much....

Just bought some 245/45/17's to go on the rear - that should make it look lower... Or, at least give it that way silly drag racing station wagon look again ;)

I think Huggies suffers from that particular affliction more than either of us.

Isn't that right Mr I got a Red Wagon for $100 . . . Hmmmm?

Fiend

I did not miss your suggestion re extending the side skirts. I have considered it and decided against it in favour of some yet to be disclosed plans.

I may look for some 245 tires my self, but in the 16" variety.

Hahahahah--- Those big a*** alloy bull bars are just greeeeaaat, wish I had some of those.... Ohhhhhhh yeah..........

If you're serious about smashing things, try reversing into them (unless you have taken your tow ball off..............!)

If you're at all interested in getting some 3 or 4" pipe bullbars out the front, I think there's a decent place for a CAI in the top of one........
