BA Washer Bottle + BA XR Bar Grille Mesh
BA Washer Bottle I purchased this BA Wagon Washer bottle quite some time ago, well before the LPG Injection Kit was on the cards, with the intent of just removing the factory bottle from the standard location. Early last year after returning from QLD with a now 'modified' BA XT Bar I mocked up the BA washer bottle. However, I got as far as working out the BA washer bottle was not going to fit due to the design and fabrication of the current front bar. The std EB bar was still present taking up the space I needed. In the above photo you can see the round hole behind the indicator. This is the location the BA washer bottle neck would go through, but not without some use of the dremel and a cutting disk. So yesterday I got motivated to finish the job off. The new BA XR bar had twice as much room, and I only had to consider the back of the driving light. Well so I thought until I tried to make it fit again. Also in the above photo if you look carefully, you can see the Charcoal Canister hanging along the chassis rail. In the EA and EB1 falcons this is where they are located. And of course it was in the way. I recalled that the later Falcons had the Charcoal Canister mounted up much higher and a quick inspection of the ED Ghia proved I was correct. A hour later, after much trial and error I had the later model setup bolted in and hooked up. I was able to ditch a quite large breather hose from the EB1 type and the routing of the ED piping is much neater, so a win was had all round. I also took the opportunity to install the plastic wheel arch guard liner from the ED. I then worked on making up some brackets to hold the washer bottle in place. I used the some of the cheap bracket strips from Bunnings and was able to locate the bottle firmly in place. I had to watch several items for clearance issues including the Air Box, the back of the passenger indicator, and the back of the BA XR driving light, as well as the BA XR bar itself. The height of the filler also required consideration. Once all bolted together again this is the result Just need to do something about the 'YELLOW'. Another hour or two was then spent on making it all functional, and I was able to fabricate a plug in extension loom for both the washer motors (a wagon has two) and an extension for the yet to be added low washer bottle sensor. I also had enough hoses and connectors for the washers to be connected. BA XR Bar Grille Mesh Seeing as I already had the front bar off the car, I also took the opportunity to fit this mesh I previously bought. Some quick measuring and some fast dremel action had things trimmed down to size and attached in no time. Quite happy with the result. The front looks finished now. Cheers BenJ

Very neat result on both accounts.
Would the ABS gear be in the way of the washer bottle for later models?

can you pull the back of the bumper up closer to the guard/wheel arch. it seems to be lower there.
