Don't you even think about it. I spent enough time filling in the bloody hole that was there on the first place.

ROFL

As if I would desecrate my beautiful hand crafted piece of art with a bloody big hole.

Well, not without someone donating a blown 351 Windsor first hehe

Then my arm might be twisted. Of course Paulc, I would ask you to cut the hole in it LOL

Hi All

A few pages back, and revived again by Friend Fiend, you may recall I hooked up the T5 Neutral switch so that the Wagon was not able to start in gear.

Well, this has been working great, but as a result of the HEAT we have been having recently, I have found that after a long drive, if I park the car, run into the shops, and come back out to start it again, the car won't start at all.

After a bit of detective work, and a quick call to an ever helpful Snap, I replaced the Starter Relay, but to no avail. I had suggested to Snap that the neutral switch might be sticking in the heat, so I crawled back under the car, and piggybacked the wiring with a small piece of loom that pokes up near the washer bottle in the engine bay. I made a small loop that can be plugged in to bypass the neutral switch, and had the chance to test it the other day when I stopped at a servo, and it wouldn't start again. Plugged in the loop, and away he went.

The next step is to run the neutral switch bypass in to the cabin and connect them to a momentary switch, which would allow me to start/crank the engine while in gear by pushing the switch in.

Cheers
BenJ

May I suggest putting the switch on the CLUTCH?! That way you don't have to find a new place for yet another switch.

What did you end up doing with cruise control on the clutch? Anything?

Have you worked out what to use your great big air holes for? Intake and something to do with cooling the p/steer and brake booster around the headers?

I love the bonnet.

something about the headlights wants work?

But it doesnt want to be a replica of Paulc's not that that would be a bad thing......

I missed the whole discussion back on page 13.

To cut a long story short.. I replaced my modified tailgate with a standard one again. I did try to make some sort of twin strut bracket arrangement but just gave up in the end when I found a perfect tailgate at the wreckers in matching colour. I got a nice set of Pioneer 6.5" speakers and whilst not full of the bass we would like, the sound is nice and clear.

One day I will make a sub enclosure for the spare wheel well unless I put in a second LPG tank.

I think this suggestion has some merit and will see if I can piggy back it to the brake pedal switch we are using on the clutch pedal for the cruise cancel.

As above, but no progress yet in terms of a 'pause' function using the clutch. I will give it some thought at a later date when I am getting the cruise functional again.

At the moment air through the right vent passes over the top of the P/Steer pump, progressing over the headers towards the brake booster as suggested.

The left vent passes air over the inlet manifold.

There are no plans for ducting etc.

I have already started doing the BA headlight mod. Hopefully I will get off my a*** and actually finish it. LOL That should do the trick.

Fair enough. Sound is a Loooooooonnnnngggg way down my list of priorities, but will get to it eventually.

Cheers
