It's about time I posted up on here. Previously I have been driving my parents 98 AU falcon Futura around. Was a good trusty car and served us well, but it just wasn't what I wanted. I've been saving quite hard while being at university and just recently reached enough to get the car I wanted. Money is quite problematic in my house, but I believe this car will see me through a long time and it has everything I need and want aside from small things here and there. It's a 2002 series 3 AU Fairmont. When I got it, it had just done 122,000km's, all service history and books brand new. It's currently sitting on 126,000 It's a very tidy car, but had the R.A.A check it to make sure. As a result, a belt was replaced under warranty and no further dramas.

I don't know a lot about cars. Anything past changing a wheel is a bit over my head, but I'm happy to admit that as I only want to learn. Below is some pictures of how I got it apart from the dash mat which I purchased today (Apologies for camera quality, it's my phone) I am drawing up some plans that I would like to see happen to it.
Please post any questions or comments about the car you might have or any ideas for modifications that could take place as I honestly have no real idea what should be done.

Kenny.

I would still be looking at using the normal lights I believe. They should still be fine as the grill changes a bit with it and helps the headlights look a bit 'sharper' I believe.

We will see eventually when I can track down a kit :)

Thanks!

Well it's certainly been a while since I've posted on here. Might as well add the few updates that have occurred since last post. I'm not made of money on top of some serious family issues so it's taking it's time but I'm content driving it around as it is. Future plans are to get some scratches fixed up, lowered eventually and a better sound system. Just click the image for a bigger version and..yeah :)
