ohhh ok then sweet as! might check it out when im in need of something done..

thats good news! im lookin at either..buying springs this weekend or booking window tint..doubt i can get the tint done this weekend though!
and i think i might head to the wreckers aswell try and get some things!

EDIT:
in regards to getting springs...what shocks do people recommend? my rear right one is squeaking and it'd be better to go with shorter shocks anyway yes?
im not sure how much id be spending on shocks cos i got no idea how much they cost but i can get everything reasonably cheap from autobarn (can get kingspring ultras all round for 300 cos i know someone there)

and is there anyone in my area (macedon ranges) that could maybe assist me with installing the springs and/or shocks cos ive never done it before!

thanks

soo tonight i went and bought a set of splits! figured i could possibly install them on sunday maybe!

just a few questions..there is a decent amount of wiring in there..what is this actually for? can i not use the wiring already in the car?
i have a 4ch amp running my sub atm..what is the best way to go about amping the front speakers? (running the wires mainly)

Image

thanks!

if your amp is better than the pioneer h/u then use channel 1 & 2 for fronts as for wiring you can either run the wires from the rear up to the front doors and then start with x-over then run 1 set of wires into each door for the mids, then run 1 set up to the top of teh dash...
alternativley come to my house in the next 2 weeks and ill get it done for you

ahh yea i get ya!

do you know much about tuning? cos i dont and think that my amp could use a little tweaking..
i want to change my ground point aswell..cos its on the parcel shelf lol, i bought just over a metre of 4g ground and loop connector thing for it aswell so i can ground it off where the rear seats are bolted down.
will also need to change the wiring on the amp..previous guy had the sub running from the FRONT channels..

but i might take you up on your offer kenay ;) would be good to finally see a fordmods car in person, give me some ideas on what i want to do etc!
im sure i could take a day off one of my jobs to have some car time!

sweeet =]
yea ill defs send you an sms to let you know whats happening!

i think i shall book in for tint next week...should i just get darkest legal or maybe go a tad darker..or not worth it?
during the week im going to try get door moulds sanded and painted cos they are pitted and faded.

where can i get clearside indicators from? best just off ebay or is there somewhere local i could maybe get them from?
i also think i want to ditch the door strips...any thoughts on this anyone?

EDIT: just wondering about the clips that go into the black plastic piece that goes across the front of the car (under the bonnet, and covers the horns)..all mine are broken. can these be bought from ford or should i just get some of those xmas tree clips??

i think ive just noticed that my brake lights arent coming on all the time
they seem to only come on if the pedal is pressed quite hard. is there a way for me to adjust how sensitive this is or anything like that?

Just double check that this is all nice and tight Blake.

Press your hand down on the brake and have a good look at the spring and make sure its tightening when your press down. if it looks fine it could be a wiring problem

I've got the same issue with my AU's brake light switch. Have a feeling it's one of two things: crappy after market switch, or i messed up the installation.

Let me know if you figure out how to make it come on sooner, would be great!

Just came across this thread, nice EF Mont you have there Bilko 8-)

Looks bloody clean man, good to see you have started on the upgrades too. Should shape up to be quite a cool ride once your planned mod's start getting underway
