Hey guy's thought i might post an update on some things haven't really had the money to do much but slow and steady i suppose. I'm about ready to convert my fairlane to manual after i managed to score a running ea falcon for 500 so it should be getting up and moving eventually. Using troymans firewall reinforcement and XR-Lane's pedal box reinforcement should make it trouble free i hope.
After looking at led conversions for the dash i decided to use red bulb dye on the globes in my cluster after seeing troymans ed. the pictures don't do justice though makes them look crappy but it's good when ur in there. I also did the EL thermo fan conversion as the old fan just had to go the sound was just crap and little power gain is ok by me. Also did the clear Au side indicators. This is the Ea in all it's glory Attachment: The EA.JPG And the manual Attachment: T5.JPG The Thermo's Attachment: thermos.JPG The Cluster Attachment: Cluster.JPG Recent Pic Attachment: Recent.JPG

Good to see some progress bizzle! I hope mine still looks this nice when it reaches 300K+.
Mine has just hit the 210K mark. Only done 15K in the 2 years I've had her. Looking forward to seeing a manual shift in her. Keep up the good work mate. Cheers, Mick

damn this looks good, i love the fairlane (probebly more then mick )
this is one fine example. in relation to the AU indicators, i have them on mine and just fitted them backwards and they slot right in. the red rockercover looks great but i bet you in a matter of months you will be redoing it as you will soon see everyone has red these days lol. i went unique and put a dragon on mine. its a genuine EL XR6 rockercover, so the red is factory, the green is the same green as my fairlane |

oh i also now run EF coilpack leads (just leads) so the leads run right to the back then down under the manifold so the dragon is really visable, i also done an AU cover with tribal flames, but that is now signed by craig lowndes (i think thats how you spell it) so it wont be going on the car

Nice rocker cover huggie thats awesome never crossed my mind to do something unique like graphics. I want to keep the red theme going like the dash rocker cover extractors then the pulleys when i get so money to do the serpentine conversion. I fitted my clear au ones backwards to i actually prefer them that way to i still had to file a bit to make them fit though. You have an el engine in your lane?.
My starter motor crap itself yesterday talk bout p****d off lol. Luckily i have the ea and pinched the starter off that i thought it was just the solaniod and change the noid over but it back together just to realise the actual motor is stuffed so back out swapped the noid back then in with the motor all sweet now The V8 in yours must go well mick should make for a mad burnout. I've been doing good old stand stills LSD style of late stupid when i think how much the tyres cost lol but hey im 20 and a P plater come on.. finished painting my extractors this morning Attachment: DSC00163.JPG
