hey guys you may not remember i attempted to start a thread a while ago when i first got my ute "bluebell" but i thought i'd start fresh and make a combo thread for the ute and my daily "eddie"

don't ask me why i name my cars i just do haha

bluebell is a 2007 xr6 ripcurl 5 speed manual ute

and eddie in a 1993 ed falcon gli auto

here's some photos of eddie when i first got it (before and after the clean)

{DESCRIPTION}
{DESCRIPTION}
{DESCRIPTION}

here's a before and after of the clear indicators and before i took it for roady and rego
{DESCRIPTION}

nice and clean with new plates on
{DESCRIPTION}
{DESCRIPTION}

and hopefully soonish this is how i can get the daily sitting, not too low and it's better then the 4x4 spec it has now
{DESCRIPTION}

but just after having eddie on the road for two weeks i hit a little problem, well a decent size one actually..

{DESCRIPTION}

it's only a few dents in the bonnet and the headlight was broken (replaced in photo)
but on the way home from work one night it was foggy and wet was lucky to be doing 40k's and a deer came out of no where and didn't see it until the last minute and smack! even though the car cost $250 i was spewing because i am one of those people that likes to keep their gear clean and straight

so hopefully i can pick up a new bonnet and grill for a decent price in this colour and get eddie looking respectable again..

and this is bluebell, my pride and joy i've wanted a ba-bf ute since i was young and having one is a dream come true especially being such a clean and tidy car and me only being a young bloke i'm pretty proud of it.

if you're wondering why it has no number plates i was in the process of changing the plates over

Neat cars bro.

I like the sleeper look stockies and cookie cutters give the car.

There is an aqua coloured ripcurl ute in town here. How many of them were made do you know?

The temp gauge sensor is one of the 2 or 3 on the thermostat hiusing, double check all the plugs and wires there.. Might have knocked one off or loosened a wire in one?

Yep, your temp gauge sender is D/C...

The one with the black plug is the temp sensor for the computer. Helps the ECU tune out..

The top right "bung" would hade a sensors too I believe has to do with A/C (not 100% but if its blocked off your car dosnt need it..) the blue plug would go to that, but don't worry about that..

The lower right one is the gauge sender to the dash. And it is unplugged. The little black end on the red wire should have a slot you can push over then end of it.

You have broken the spade connector of the Temp Sender. You will need to replace the sender.

I missed noting that.

The little metal tab is still in the plug.

also the trip meter or the odometer isn't working since i have bought the car

on my old hiace van we fixed this which was just the cable that runs into the gear wasn't connected right and the little plastic gear cog to the gearbox the teeth were worn out

does the ed run the similar sort of set up?
