Nope. I do this all on $0 a week. Centrelink pays me nothing ( im studying full time) and getting a job on this hole is like walking on water.
BTW I totalled a car this morning and I'm really f**k sore. Sick.

Yeh thats true. Looped the Fairmont on the highway, found some trees on its side. Was bleeding a fair bit from my cheek but no real damage other than my elbow being sore as a mofo, have to get an X ray on it shortly.
I'll add some pics shortly.

Dodged a roo, went right hard on the brakes, snapped back left and tank slapped right around.
The rear quarters are completely crushed up to the c/d pillar. Had to kick the windscreen out to get out, bit of a cut on my cheek that was pissing out blood everywhere but thats stopped. Had to walk 2.5/3kms to get home too, no one pulled up, and my phones somewhere in the bush.

Cheers bud, but the green cars still alive! Well sortof, motors still playing silly buggers with me. The car I stacked was my/mums EF Fairmont.

Jay-Aye, I've had a few jobs, none of them have really stuck. Longest I had was 6 odd months in a pet shop until he thought I was stealing s**t  . Didnt care to check the security tapes which would show the permanent older women taking home bag fulls of stuff each shift when he wasnt here.

Man that just isnt right. You sure do have your fair share of bad luck.
Took me exactly 32 attempts at landing a job before woolies took me on, seems no-one wanted an 18yo uni student with no experience. I sure hope you dont find it that hard mate.

Oh and good to hear the green beast is alive, for a few secs i thought it was that one on its side :P

$50 odd from here or ebay I think. Should go onto any E or A or B series stick, it went onto the original EF stick then onto the shortened BA stick.
Basically just screw it on :P

FML.

Replaced the timing chain/guides/tensioner, front end rattle is gone!

But the stupid knock is still there!@!!!@$#$
:banghead:

Want to get this running before Sunday so I can go on the QLD'ers cruise, not looking good at this stage F**k it! If I cant get hold of an AU bottom end today or tomorrow for a decent price I think I'll buy another spigot bearing, replace the top chain guide in the motor out of the EF Mont I wrecked and drop that in. Then get another AU bottom end and put it in. Seems like a waste to pull the head off the AU motor and put it on the EF motor as I did the h/g on it not 12 months ago and it runs very well.

Just so sick of the stupid f**k thing.

can you be bothered to pull it out and look at the bottom end? If not just buy yourself a second motor and when it goes pop you'll get something for the scrap metal value. How good is your mechanical skills? I can change an engine in a day with everything at hand :D
