Yeh its pretty decent lol, I've done the motor swap in this, heads/cams/box/clutch/diff etc so its not a problem.
I've got to clean out the shed tomoro which may take a while lol. Picked up the engine crane so I'll grab a spigot tomoro, pull the motor out of the mont and change the guide in it, then possibly pull the EF motor out. See how I go.

More good news.

Snapped a flywheel bolt off in the block, managed to get it out without using E Z outs due to the angle is snapped off, very lucky there. So I'll have to get some new bolts tomoro to put the motor in finally.

Jeez mate, you've had it tough lately, the f**k up AU motor and the incident with the Fairmont , glad to hear you came out alright though.

Hopefully that's the end of the bad luck and you won't have any other issues with the putting the other motor in. What's the story with the AU motor? Going to pull it down and do a full rebuild on the bottom end?

New bottom end, the oil gallerys are all blocked up with s**t on this one so not even going to bother as the other big ends had signs of wear.
I just want to get the c#*t going already!

Maybe, not a bit though lol I need some more tyres.

Heres a cool update for everyone:

f**k f**k YOU STUPID b**ch!
I just got f**k over by my stupid f**k s*** of an ex.
Owes me $600, so she f**k transferred $300 to the fella I bought the AU motor from.
He said I could have it for $250 the other day, then it broke after like 2 weeks of being in the car so I was going to give him $150 (which is what he paid for it) and call it square, and it he chucked a hissyfit tell him to suck my nuts.
I hate stupid f**k dumb s***. :banghead: :banghead:

Minor update - stupid plastic bumper bracket on the rear drivers side broke off from the actual bar where you screw it on... so now it has a good cm gap around the side  .
I guess I'll have to get some fibreglass and stick it back on.

It wants to be a boxcar. :P

How did you do the AC control lights in white? Are they soldered in?

Just some white LEDs. Behind the main face is 3 or so T5s I think.
I had to unsolder some original LEDs out of the board, but that was for the buttons IIRC.
Also I've now got white LEDs in all the roof lights - dome, reading and the 2 rear ones. I read that it wasnt possible due to the way the BCM controls them... but all you need to do is switch the pos n earth around lol, took like half an hour. Looks good at night with a very nice crisp white light in the car.

And its playing up again.
Car wont start, cranks fine just wont fire. The thermos flick on for a sec when the cranking and I dont think the injectors are doing anything.

Just bought another AU motor for it, and some fairlane door trims with the lights and padded arm rests.
