Yeah Im still a little confused, because you don't have the Ghia hood ornament, witch tells me its not a Ghia. And as far as I know Ford started to use Tickford engine and running gear in the Ghias in the EL NL range. And they did not have Tickford badges, they had Ghia badges.

I could be wrong mate, but as far as I know thats how they are.

[EDIT] I speak from owning a NF Ghia, although it has a Tickford engine now the original engine was a stranded EF engine. And anyone can buy Tickford badges and stick them on. Again I may be wrong but it does not sound right.

as far as ford are concerned,
Its a NF fairlane Ghia, with tickford, 200kw engine, LSD,

Its noted that the bonnet emblem be removed, as It was a melbourne Ford Rep car, and I was also surprised that the 149588klms is genuine,

Well if that's the case and it is the way it is from factory, you have a very rare cross breed from the factory. High up Ford executives got what they wanted in there company cars, weather they wanted a GLI with XR8 engine and Ghia interior. Or what ever combination you can think of. If that's what it is, leave it as it is don't mod it as its one of a kind from factory and will be worth something.
