Makes me wish I saved up a bit more and got something better than a GLi, I'm only a student but, haha. I'm looking forward to seeing more mods. Haha thanks for the comment. Yeah the XR8 was strange, it looked so good when i cleaned it. I don't think i've had a car that could look so different when dirty & clean But, the Ghia is better Well mate enjoy the GLi, you never know where it'll go or what you end up with. My brother had an EF GLi, then a lovely ticky kitted EL XR6 and now that blue XR8. So keep with it. They're easy enough to mod or to find another upper-spec model. You won't be a student forever! Hahah true, thanks mate, I am enjoying it |

They degreased my engine, stuffed a lead and ran the engine for 2 hours to dry it up, then i picked up the car and of course misfiring, told em to change the lead and tried to charge me $45 for a lead. Another occasion, flatmates timing belt and water pump changed on the Hyundai, picked it up and a belt was loose. Like seriously. Few more stories, but avoid em. Will be trying Rileys at some point. Need to find someone dammit. Cant do everything myself Cool, if you give Rileys a go let me know how they are. I'll need a new place in the future once my bloke retires Thanks dazzle, no harm in giving a plug, just a bit far for me!

Well I've been having an issue with swapping to petrol from LPG. might be the fuel pump, NRMA think it was LPG solenoid, but I saw an LPG specialist and he said my system didn't have one lol
Interesting. Also confusing Is anyone heading go the muscle car masters this Sunday at eastern creek?

Yeah thanks mate, i have actually popped around to NEW GAS. I would like to drop it in for a LPG service there at some point! The fuel pump was replaced, and happy days! So nothing much has happened. I finally gave it a polish just before christmas! It does sit better than those pics suggest. I havent wound out the coilovers, its just the crappy driveway and weight transfer

Wellll, i hate to say it but i will be selling the Ghia soon!
I will get a proper ad up too. Its a shame but im moving to bowral and commuting to sydney every day, so im looking at a new Fiesta as a buzzbox/commutor. That means the Ghia will have to go 1996 EL Fairmont Ghia V8, fully optioned from factory, 168,000km - immaculate leather interior, electric drivers seat, factory sunroof, EL GT copy rims, tickford bodykit (deleted rear wing for smooth look), Pedders Coilovers, EL GT headers, high flow cats and a custom twin 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust into twin Stainless steel 3" tips (took 2 days to build from scratch at Carline Mortdale), LPG system installed in 2011 (i will check to be sure), new fuel pump, brakes replaced and frozen calipers rebuilt (new pads &fluid). I had it serviced every 5000km, so i will add everything done to it soon. Thanks guys
