well most of your exhaust note will come from the extractors. The final note is obviously deepened and quietened with the rear muffler setup. A resonator or 2 in the rear will quieten down an exhaust quite a fair chunk.

$800 for that is stupid expensive man. $400 for 4490's and maybe 10" of 2.5" mandrel bend to fit up to the cat, would cost you $500 total (i had my cat installed for $100, and that was 2.5" inlet 3" outlet, just using that as reference).

the father inlaw can do me a 2.5 inch bolt on section with all the o2 bungs and that but he would just have to have the old one laying in the shed to copy it exactly so it fits but theres no room at home to park the car up and remove the exhaust, as some fordmods members have seen our shed is full of skyline bits, gearboxes, engines and heads / all kinds of car s**t and the driveway is full of gtr's and subaru's

Bidding on a new boot xr6 badge so I can get it correctly placed on the boot. Didn't wanna use new double sided tape on the old badge because it never seems as good

My obd 11 scanner arrived today. No codes stored on my computer though. Got me stuffed why it's terrible on fuel. driving like an old f**k returned 430kms to almost a full tank.
