Rims are gone, cars basically stock now apart from the xr8 snorkel, typhoon bottom snorkel and platinum spark plugs.
Head gasket was seeping out coolant near #6 on the exhaust side so i ran a sealer through it and all good for now.

New rig
Came with
rear drawer setup,
dual batteries
31×10.5 r15 A/T's
8 months rego
309.000kms

So far ive done 5 beach trips and wound up the front torsion bars up,but the original cvs dont like it. Im told greasing them may shut them up for a while.

Got some standard gu rear coils to give me approx 3 inches of lift, just need to source some 4runner standard rear shocks to go with it.

Thinking about fish oiling the bottom of the pajero seeing as im always on the beach.
Super cheap cans are only a few doll hairs each.
Does anyone one know if its worth it?

Got a little problem where the pajero vent smells like cat piss :/
Matt_jew and xcabbi offered some advice on removing the smell but I decided to try lemon bleach and hot water straight down the plenum with the vent open and fans full speed. So far all I smell now is lemon from the bleach.
I dont think it will completely remove the smell but hopefully its helped.

Bought some rear king hd 2inch springs for $169 delivered off ebay.
Aparently 4 runner standard rear shocks fit the 2 inch lift and are cheaper than paj ones.
In fact they will give me more down travel on the rear than 2 inch shocks. Might have to rig up a coil relocator so they dont fall out

The vajero got driven to my dad's farm over the weekend.
Done 720kms up, around town, around the farm, and home again
I only managed to use 1 full tank (gauge reads almost empty sitting in the drive way.
It worked out roughly 13L/100kms even with the harsh flogging it got for about 1hr in the dirt

Really happy with the king hd raised curly things in the back end.
Car handles better now with no sway bar than it did with stock springs and a sway bar.
Next id like to re grease the cv's and get some 33s or body lift. Hmmm 1 inch or 2?

I knew id break something soon. It seems my steer fluids pissing out the steering box lol. Might try some of that stop leak fluid in it for now.
Other than that ive taken the old girl out on 2 day trips in the bush and it went more places than I thought it would. A patrol broke a chrome moly front axle before my noisey cv's have even let go :)
