Oil changed, tappets need adjusting on my next day off, cant find a timing mark to check ignition timing :( ohh and it has the old points ignition not electronic, my 85 laser had electronic :$

get the model specs and try a mechanic or your library may have a manual

I can buy new rings and bearings and a gasget kit for less than 200 on ebay :) shocks are cheap, jeez shoulda bought one of these years ago lol!

So problem #1 the fuel gauge reads 1/2 when the tank is full, and 0 when its just half empty, solution: fill the tank every time it reads 0 just to be sure and keep track of the kms I travel, problem.#2 when the throttle is pressed over 50% it makes no difference to rpm or power so the carby needs looking at, rear brake shoes need replacing/ adjustment to bring the pedal up a bit aswell, other than that me and my mate are enjoying driving it around because its so small and bomby.its travelled 330000 kms and the engine runs good, needs a tappet adjustment tho

it's acturly his son's first car when he gets his licence twice we've had to put oil in it cause it's been running empty
