I am always happy when I get more than 350 km to 3/4 tank. Can't wait to see what the man-well will do to the economy.

sorry guys i read it wrong haha it was 260  i thought about it and double checked, just put a half tank in it we will see how it goes now ive had my fun, the exhaust has instantly given a decent amount of extra power over the whole rev range and it sounds awesome with the 5 speed, its actually alot quieter on the manual with amost no drone

My manual, with all its mods uses WAY less fuel than the missus stock auto. Have achieved up to 500km per tank before rebuild.

Will be geting a good guage on its economy tomorrow when I drive to Canberra for SUMMERNATS :D

Thats a shame Bry, its going to be massive. For example, the other two years it was me and one friend. This year there are atleast 10 of my mates going there and even one entering his Hilux minitruck.

To me that it would indicate that many others would be in the same boat = F**k HUGE! :D

Just worked out I'm getting 13.3 L/100km or about 18 MPG in the old money.

unplugged the ics yesterday and it sounds much better down shifting, much more prefer it because it seemed to have the auto rev hang, when i start the car in the morning it idles straight away, only have a problem when i rev it a little even though its idling at the normal rpm when i rev it i have a bit of a miss for a couple seconds, may need to throw another set of leads and plugs on it, need a front wheel bearing soon altho the hummings gone a little bit quiet

now i need to make a decission, xr seats or cappa leeather or the grey leather from ef/el's
anyone who looks at this thread needs to put down which way they would go, i like the idea of the front xr seats holding me in a little better but leather looks good, very hard for me to choose lol.wont be getting the door trims or doing any power window conversion any time soon as im lazy now and just wanna drive it and improve on the look on the out side.

problem with the control of te vents/ heater
every time i get in the car i thought it felt hotter than normal, for some reason its stuck on vent and hot and its stuck on foot well vent so its getting hot air into my feet, and when i touch any of the controls the only thing that works is the ac is switched on without the fan on, it blows the hot air a little more, or if i turn the fan control up it blows a little more hot air, so has anyone else herd of this/ had this happen and is m problem in the controller or are myvacum lines disconnected under the dash/ at the manifold? i keep thinkin it could be my fault from the engine change from these vacum lines?
