detailing buffers
looking at buying a buffer to detail the car as doing it by hand hurts more than ba whats his face after a pull session with all his mates just wondering if anyone can give feedback on any good ones, i know that synthetic is the way to go for the pad on it,i used to be a detailer for a little while but we just had the huge supercheap auto one that looked like a 9 inch grinder lol. i think something a little lighter would be better, and a smaller pad

my polishing kit conists of
ryobi 125mm sander grinder with variable speed 200mm wool buff pad with 5/8 to m14 adapter mothers powerball for paint used with a ryobi one cordless drill does the job quite well and the ryobi grinder spins the 200mm buff pad quite easily..... |

yep definatly need something with a variable speed,if somethings too quick is useless. how do you find using the wool pad? have you ever used a spongey type synthetic one? i was told synthetic is the only way to go
the reason im looking into a buffer is because im thinking about sticking the falcon on the back burner soon(just doing little things here and there) and buying and selling a few cars from the internet that i find cheap enough, as long as they come with rego and i check them out and they seem like ill make a profit ill buy clean up, possibly service and then piss off again for a profit mostly will be looking at 4 cyl cars so i can use them for work and is cheaper to run= more money for falcon also if a fourbie comes up for the right price ill buy it and keep as id like something to go bush in on my time off with a mate of mine who has a patrol

ended up fitting the fordmods rear quarter stickers, one is on a little bit of an angle but still looks good, the other is pretty darn straight
havent got any pics yet, need to be carefull sticking them on because the top part that comes from the falcons head its very thin and doesnt really want to stick to the glass, but i worked it out and its stuck now thinking about going and buying some front speakers, not sure weather to install some splits or just some normal 2/3 ways will be installing my sony explode cheapo amp one day and running all 4 speakers off it, altho i dont listen to my music loud anymore just want good quality, wont even bother putting my sub in

If you only want a slight drop, using XR6 springs works well. They work well with stock shocks, improve the handling, still ride well and you should get a set for $50 or so.

well i just bought king "low"(xr6 height springs) off ebay, just need shocks, the mrs is freakin out at me because im spendin money but the back end floats around pretty bad so it needs some work done and some height taken out while im there anyway lol, was offered some springs and shocks out of an xr6 for cheap but decided new stuff might be the way to go at least for the back end, will probably just pay the $50 and get the stuff anyway and use the fronts because im getting a front sway bar soon anyway,
