He went through a few before settling back onto a normal tickford (he has a el xr6) as was overall best for him and better down low. With cams you lose out somewhere, either it kicks in a bit later or a certain RPM range. Diff gears can help sort that out as well. Whats your budget? Regarding mods, if you want, you can do a wash mod on my car and install a rear 4 point camber set? Its so exciting i can leave it for you to do. i realised i had to work 1 hour away at 4 oclock which didnt give me much time to run out to barnsley for a boot load of goodies from the man i bought the car off lol have a few things lined up from out there but it will remain a secret for now as im not 100% sure when i can afford it all Yes I've been through a few cams , being manual id go with the 977b . With full exhaust intake mods and a healthy engine I can't see why u won't make around 140-150rwkw, I did but mine is a xr6. I didn't notice too much difference going from 977b to stock except it makes no power from 4500 upwards were as 977b had more up top, Down low power is still good , just change gears earlier and has a bit less pull. Even get it ground at 114 lsa . That's what I had and it was stock Ecu friendly

{USERNAME} wrote: well i just bought king "low"(xr6 height springs) off ebay, just need shocks, the mrs is freakin out at me because im spendin money but the back end floats around pretty bad so it needs some work done and some height taken out while im there anyway lol, was offered some springs and shocks out of an xr6 for cheap but decided new stuff might be the way to go at least for the back end, will probably just pay the $50 and get the stuff anyway and use the fronts because im getting a front sway bar soon anyway, i'm not surprised it floats around, with the 4x4 height. mines on lows as our roads are f**k, can't really go lower...good height i reckon and handles well. so you should be happy with it. |

went to adjust the brothers clutch because its oober sensitive right at the end of the pedal and because the doosh has taken it bush many many MANY times and doesnt clean the underbody i got dirt in my left eye, oh joy!
also was considering buying a suzuki sierra like his once i got some money saved up as i like to go bush in his little car but damn! they are terrible to drive on the road! not to mention his steering as play in it, and the brakes are stuffed, hes never owned a car more than 3 months before it ends up going to scrap from a blown gear box(blew a hole clean in the side of it) or something as simple as a leaky fuel tank(vn commodore LOL) this is the nicest car hes owned and hes already made an attack on it and this is my twin brother! you can tell we are nothing alike

this seems like a good price for a sports clutch just wondering if anyone has this clutch as ive herd nothing but good reports from this brand, my mate runs one in both his fourbies and he constantly gives them hell like you wouldnt believe, and also one in his twin turbo awd liberty wagon so i thought for this price it must be well worth it but also was thinking is it going to be bad on the gear box being a tuffer clutch or is it just the next step up over a standard one?

I had a sports tuff in my Pulsar. Hardly a horsepower hero, I got it for the durability.
I'm getting this one: {DESCRIPTION} $259 free shipping. BenJ recommended it to me. |

just bought an ozito buffer from bunnings warehouse
$99 looks like a 9 inch grinder but its got variable speed, can also use as a sander came with a wool pad and i already dont like it, prefer a sponge type any day, and ive only polished one panel, came up ok and it was only cheap polish

if your going to get the spongey type buff, get one of the woffle pads as pictured below as they seem to produce a better finish for polishing and apparently less chances of burn throughs.....
