also with manuals on the highway the will use more fuel than the auto, mine has the 3.08 diff and at 100 sits at 2000 rpm or a little bit over that, with the auto and a 323.1 diff in top gear my car used to sit at about 1800rpm at 100

Mine has a 75litre tank

If sits round 2000rpm max whilst accelerating, can get upwards of 690kms as per trip computer advising. More if on highway

Put my foot down and shoots down to 390-410kms per tank (this is the normal outcome)

60kmp/h barely sits on 1000rpm
110kmp/h sits at 2000rpm

Mafless tuned will improve economy and performance so for me so its necessary :)

Thats not too bad

my shocks turned up today, so will be putting them in some time this week, if they go any good ill be buying some adjustable fronts, if they arent much different to normal shocks ill just buy some new non adjustable ones with springs

They should be the other way around.

My manual is way more fuel efficient than my auto by far, even before rebuilding.
Auto is stock, manual is obviously modified.

Tested this arvo, my EB sits at 2000rpm @ 110km/h
Before I fitted the k&n filter and XH snorkel it used to sit at 2100rpm @ 110km/h
I'm putting it down to how well they can breathe 8-)
I'm expecting to be corrected too btw...

*Edit: That's with stock 3:45 diff gears..

Seems very low RPM for 3.45.

Seems very low RPM for 3.45.

That's what I was getting when my car was auto, back in the day 4 weeks ago...

Now it's running at 2450RPM at an indicated 110 km/h. That's with EA T5.

That seems more likely. My EF manual (3.23 gears) sits just below 2400, Right in the "Drone Zone".

i did my shocks today under the shade of my sister and her fiance's garage, and set it to #3 which makes it fairly stiff for a low car, havent been able to feel any bumps, and turning corners theres almost no body roll, also noticed i need new sway bar rubbers, so i might chase some nolothane ones for it.
its so damn hot i rekin this is what my father would be doing today on his farm
