this is the car my brother swapped his ed and the suzuki sierra for, aparently its running 2.8 diesel which it never came out with(probably fitted from a rocky) the side rear windows are sheet metaled up and its been repainted, has outter roll cage and suspension lift to suit the bigger tyres which he is yet to buy,the back of it has been levelled out with wood over the rear wheel arches like a pano.

my dad said it was full of rust but i seem to think it isnt as bad as the old alcoholic thinks it is.
aparently its got some surface rust in a couple spots that is just starting.

swapped the back seat and passenger seat over but the back seat was still a bit wet, once they have dried i can still see they are slightly stained in spots but its hardly noticable, will try something else to clean them up by hand, i went at it 5 hours without a break, filling the machine up and cleaning them and even at the end of the day when i went out for another go dirt was still coming out of them

but they are nice and soft and in good condition, they definatly make the car look nicer on the inside, now to decide power windows and ghia door trims or not :|

for some reason i had been using the blue premium fuel pump at the 7/11 servo because my car had been running really well on it instead of the vortex 98, today i realised i wasnt even using the 98 at the 7/11 so i used it and holy s**t!! its soo much better than the fuel at any other servo in my area, no vibration on deceleration(thought it was my gearbox but turns out its something else)
and i dont need to use any pedal to move the car and if i put my foot down it goes really well!!! someone else try their fuel so i know im not going crazy :?

wow, never had to pay that much, one week petrol went really over priced over the weekend i never bought any, i simply didnt go anywhere the whole weekend until the price dropped, this was when i had my fairmont.

i really recomend using the premium fuels from the 7/11, this $30 of 98 octane has lasted me 3 days, usually the amount of driving i do and the heavy foot i have makes it go fairly quick but ive done the same amount of driving since i filled up, last night on the way home from work (4am) i thought no bodys around ill give it a bit of hell off the lights, and i actually scared myself, it went soo quick it was like going from an auto to the manual all over again lol, id really like to know what caltex vortex petrol has in it against the 7/11 stuff, even the 95 octane 7/11 fuel outperforms the 98 vortex :?
