thanks ef_falcon_95 for the au injectors.
should keep me busy for a few hours next week cleaning and fitting them. i reckin i could make my money back dodgy cleaning my old ones and reselling on ebay. doesnt seem to have any problems starting or idling on them, seems ok on fuel considering the way i drive it that firewall plate made a HUGE difference on the clutch, when its adjusted correctly on the firewall plate, it gives a much more solid pedal feel. before you could feel something wasnt right, and the firewall must have been flexing under the pressure so it wasnt completly disengaging the clutch properly?

More than likely matey. The whole process of adjusting the pedal to a good position improves things in itself mind you... |

cars back together and its all working, altho i blew the super cheap auto 10 amp fuse, im running 15 amp cable though? so i fitted a 15 amp fuse to it, and i drove all the way back home winding the window up and down without a problem.
went to the car wash, wound the window down on the way home and then the fuse blew out again then i noticed the button was stuck in the down position and it got me wondering would this cause the fuse to blow? also when the button used to get stuck down in the fairmont it used to just not let me wind the window up in the car for a few minutes after i fixed the button, so did it have a circuit breaker or something? might fit one to this if that is the case

i changed my fuel filter this morning, ryco ones are almost 30 bucks
anyways thats the brand i trust so it put that on it, the one i took off looked like a cheapy, cant remember what brand it was, dirty water ran out the back off it when i took it off so i guess it was r/s(s**t) havent gone for a drive to see if i gained 50 billion killawasps because chances are it didnt make a difference, just wanted to change it so when i clean my au injectors and install id have nice clean fuel coming up to them

just had to work with some guy who drives a vt commodore, and tryed to tell me his would be faster because it was a new v6 and that mine was only a straight 6
didnt know v6 ment that it was a stroked v8 monster hiding in a commodore body he then continued to talk to a guy in the corner about the guys front wheel drive celica and how a mechanic recently said to him its like a racecar and shouldnt be allowed on the road even though it was standard,... and people say theres problems with the younger generations these guys were 40+ useless cunce

Take for example that moron on here that wanted to put a 12volt fan in his airbox cos his stupid mate told him it works and only when he was ridiculed did he say he was joking to save face. Just shake your head is all you can do sometimes this guy laughed his head off at me, i laughed back at him and then said " mine has extractors, and dont forget its manual" he gave me a filthy look and said "nah my commode doesnt have extractors, but my sons 5 speed v8 vt commode will beat ya" but thats not his v6 commodore is it? hahahaha
