Well i knew it was there but I also had a massive garage cleanout couple weeks ago and got worried i chucked it out.

Spoke to Eddie and tried to Phone a Friend, then tried 50/50 and still no go. So had to check. :(

i used to forget to fill in the book so i knew i had the full time up so i just lied in the book for the last few months and they never checked it, they just pretend to look in it and see if youve crossed anything out, also make sure you go for a minimum of 2 booked driving lessons with one of them L plater cars, otherwise they will almost definatly fail you the first time you got for your Ls

without the kit it's just standard fairmont with exhaust mags lowered and a manual, better than taking my brothers wagon, lowered mags exhaust and lumpy cam, and manual

well i drove home last night fine, only to find a flat tyre this morning with no evidence of anything entering or exiting the tyre :? so had to change it quick smart this morning before work, 7am in white uniform, done the tyre in about 10 minutes, was argueing with the standard ford jack because i dont own any other type :x managed to keep my uniform clean too :D

so now im driving on a slicked out stocker which spins in second gear at the press off the accelorator in a straight line with no clutch effort  will be looking for one of my better spares later to throw on until i can afford a brand spanker, its not on the important list at the moment since my bank accounts looking rooted in the bum

scored an engine stand today for free to borrow as long as i need, for my spare engine, just need to borrow something to lift the prick up off the shed floor and need to wheel it into my cleaner garden shed to disassemble and have a look at aux shaft/chinese dizzy damage gayness.

also anyone got any ideas on cutting headbolts off to remove the head? 3 of them refuse to untighten and decided on raping the head of the bolt instead, have tried to get the grinder in there but not enough room with the valve springs, tried the dremel but the little cutting disks grab on the hard bolts and its also a long task of utting through, and also hacksaw would take forever?? i suck at everything :|

As far as jacking the car, been there done that. Fun isnt it.

Even had the experience of having a flat in the SS, realising i didnt have a jack and having to wait 45mins on a dark road for the NRMA. My friend was a hour away and on her way as well.

thanks uniacidz will weld something onto the end like an old spanner with my mates stick welder.

lucky i was at home with a flat, because my wheels need a deep socket to get into the mag wheels and i took it out of the car to change my spark plugs a while ago lol

i started getting carryed away assemblying the engine stand and what not and realised i had no bolts for the engine to bolt to the stand

 so went into my "box of left overs" from when i dropped the donk into the el and only found 1 bolt, then had the great idea of "ill take them out of the ol fairmont, removed 1 and it took me half an hour to dig the wheels out of the sunken dirt so i decided to put 1 side on bricks so it wont sink too much further, and decided on buying some bolts to hold it to the stand.

also need an engine crane or the incredible hulk to lift the engine onto the stand... anyone got his number?

EDIT: never realised all my spare tyres are cambered out on one side or completly fudged or the offset is au+
looks like ill have to let those moths out of my wallet and see if theyve left me any change for a tyre

Why not have a bath instead? Got a air compressor?

Fill up flat tyre with air, put in bath and see where leak is. If on side wall it's not fixable but anywhere else is fine.

Either take it to a tyre joint to fix or kmart/supercheap tyre repair kit. Be cheaper then a tyre for a spare.

well theres a bit of the sidewalls damaged, has been since the tyres been on the car, and the tyre was bought brand new! i have a feeling it may have let go, or i was also working on a construction site last night so i probably picked something up there, gives me a chance to finish polishing the alloy on this wheel anyway.

my clutch has upped and left on me.... it feels as if i gave the engine a few red lines into second gear off the lights and posibly into 3rd once or twice and now the clutch is fooked, can drive it normal fine but if i put my foot flat in 5th gear the rpm moves up a few 100 rpm without the car atually accelorating, let m foot off and it comes back down

before anyone judges my adjustment on it YES IT IS ADJUSTED CORRECTLY as per everyone says on fordmods, and the stupid thing hasent stretched the cable in a while so no problems there,
ive bought a rear main seal, and i know how much a clutch is but what i need to know is how much roughly to get the flywheel machined? in the mood to just rub it on concrete and put it back in at the moment
