got rid of the fairmont yesterday, shoulda hired my own car trailer, can be worth $400 to take to the scrap myself depending on where i went, my mate did it with his car trailer, i got $100 and he pocketed some for towing it there, i know i could of gotten more if i called the scrap truck out to pick it up(about $200) but the car was stuck in the back corner of my yard and the truck wouldnt fit in there and my mate was the only guy who would help me out with his fourbyto tow it out so i figured we will just use his car trailer and piss it off once and for all

t5, custom leather interior(cream coloured) what looked to be brand spanking new ROH wheels and tyres, really good paint, i asked how much because its going to scrap and its worth 600 to the bastards :shock:
so i had to pay that much for it, made an offer on the wheels and they said it comes up to how much they weigh and what their made of,so the offer i made was probably more than they were worth lol, but some other prick already said he wanted them, if he doesnt come throuh with the money theyre mine :D

Your pictures are small man, like and dont expand. So i see a red ute, cant really see the wheels.

So how much money did your 'mate' make from picking up your car?

probably s**t, in the end i couldnt care less, got rid of the POS and payed rent with the money. went to work last night with a busted left hand due to VERY VERY bad mood, bought a packet of ciggies and got over it.

yesterday wasnt a good day for young bryden :x

Dont punch walls. Nothing good comes of it. Accumaltion of motorbike accident, martial arts punching boards and being a d**k punching walls and my right hand pinky knuckle and finger tendon are damaged permantely. I cant straighten it fully anymore and swells up easily if accidently knocked in the right spot.

And {DESCRIPTION} Thatll put a smile on ya dial

well i looked at the el, went to punch its rocker cover/ front quarters /slammed the bonnet as hard as posssible (damn thing never broke so i was more p****d off) then looked at the fence and left hooked the bastard, made me feel better lol. kramer is my favourite on seinfeld and i seen this episode once, made me laugh so hard i still watch it all the time {DESCRIPTION} :D

ever since i fitted the xr6t intake snorkel ive been getting terrible fuel economy, havent filled the tank and properly checked it but the gauge is dropping quicker, been driving alot more carefull with this stupid clutch but the fuel seems to be dissapearing quicker than usual :cry:
will fill the tank this week and reset the odometer and test it, i have reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery. its been so cold the car doesnt even have the thermo fans plugged in, i left the plug out the other day accidentally and the gauge hasent moved at all.

clutch choice
now there are quite a few different types i can get, depending on branding or if its hd or standard replacement
i was wondering if this is a good cheap hd clutch that will be better than a standard item, because i like the price:
{DESCRIPTION}
or i was wondering if this is normal pricing for the exedy hd
{DESCRIPTION}

and are these standard exedy clutches a good replacement over the standard item if i need to buy a clutch asap and dont have the money for the above ones
{DESCRIPTION}

thats a good price for the exedy hd. the last one i brought was around $380.

the valeo one is ok, afaik the factory clutches are made by valeo..
but i had a few of them fail early in the past and the pedal feel with the valeo will be a little harder compared to the exedy..

any local transmission or parts places in your area?they could be cheaper and have the same clutch in stock.

ok thanks.
i think ill just go with the original plan and buy the exedy hd, since everyone says they are the best and the price isnt out of my range,now to buy a gasget kit for the engine :| or purchase a running ticky engine from my good mate in barnsley. hmm decissions :?

Good stiffer springs etc.. Do the work on it.

Get the engine, and clutch and once engine sorted, install both at same time.

yep, was going to buy the clutch first, so if mine goes BANG i can always do a swap, but if it doesnt i can always drop the engine in at the same time once ive purchased everything. the thing is i can buy the tool and change the springs in my standard head and put a cam in and have more power for less money, but i do like the idea of having an engine completly prepped and ready to be dropped in once i change all the accessories over, and they do have the bigger exhaust ports which means the cam will have more of an effect, the other con of swapping engines is im left with another boat anchor/yard ornament to try and off load to some other e series nut :lol: i already have one in the shed and only just got rid of my btr yard ornaments :mrgreen:
