haven't done a high way trip with my manual but my auto would get 790 to a tank, and 6.5 - 7/100

I have to say that the Falcons are *surprisingly* economical on the highway. I thought my fuel gauge was broken when I had done 540km and only used 3/4 tank. You do nearly 200km before the needle moves.

7L/100km is a bit optimistic, I think.

My trip gauge would read 7.5-8 most of the trip, once you go up a few hills and traffic lights going through towns it ends up 8-9l/100

It all boils down to averages. Turn the engine off and you'll be doing 0.0L/100km

went to the brake shop and the guy couldnt get any dba ones in until monday, and he wanted $90 each for the old straight slot design, so i thought bugger that, went into supercheap and they wanted 130 each. so that plan was short lived, will buy some off egay and do it later.

he was showing me some specialy hardened ones for the e series coon for racing but i thought why the hell bother? its got s**t little calipers anyway and its not going to do too much.

forgot to say i found my wheelnuts loose yesterday after driving to work and back home, on the left side of the car there were 1 on each left wheel that were still tight, and the other 4 were exactly 3 turns loose on each wheel.

and it just so happens that bloody dc_todd was in my area. but after questioning his exact whereabouts in the time all this took place i had found out he had acutally left his wheel brace at home

I wasnt exactly driving slow on the way home from work either, was following a worked vr clubby manual, man it sounded tuff! Tryed turning into a street and backed off the go pedal and the car vibrated funny. For some very unknown reason I decided to check wheelnuts before anything else, now it just has the same old brake shudder and deceloration shudder from the gearbox
