I'm not usually all that big on badges.. the two Ghia badges and the front ford badge will be all that's left on the car once the front and rear skirts are on and I paint the whole thing shockwave blue.
I have a week off this week so I might get the rear bar done. (I hope) |

Rear is getting a ba xr skirt too. Silly for me to do it any other way cos the sideskirts are supposed to flow into the rear one on either side of the back wheels.. I'll also be putting my reverse sensors and some recessed red reflector in either side so my clear tail lights are legal.

oh i see, it'll look nice once it's done, i find mixing kits don't look good unless it's a gt kit from front to back just diffrent models cause they both use the same sideskirts

You can see how the rear bar and side skirts flow together in this photo I find on google images:
 mine will looks much the same expect while I'm grafting the BA skirt to the EL bar I'll be putting in reverse sensors and some strips of reflector cut from my old EA tail lights. The idea looking a bit like the back of a new mazda 3. Doing so will make my clear tail lights legal. |

Yup, and that is more or Less what I'm aiming for.. It suits the ef/el more than any other skirt set I've seen..
Love your work SWC, ever consider moving to WA?

New stuff...
Been a while.. I just won a set of XR lights.. so soon my front bar will be on the car after 2 years in the shed.. I'm very excited. In the mean time I picked up a passanger front FG XR seat and a rear from the same model. For the drivers seat I have a SAAS sports seat that was for selling really cheap at supacheap... Here is the passanger XR seat:  And the SAAS drivers seat.:   Pretty happy with the results.. turns out I'm not as fond of the SAAS seat as I was when I saw it in the shop.. it really grabs you though so I'll keep it for a while and see if it gets more comfy. (if not I'll put a drivers FG xr seat in too.) Still got to do the rear seat yet.. since it's lower I will probably make a place to put all the electrics in the EL and it will raise the rear seat a few inches.. liking the results of what I have done so far. oh.. also put a reverse cam and permanent screen in... was 30 dollars so I figured what they hell. |

Looks great Im jealous you have got the rear seat but i have heard it takes a little bit of welding etc |

welding is no issue.. I have a mig... will see what it looks like before I get too excited.

the rear seat is different to e series but cam be made to fit, the hardest bit is the base as b series and im assuming fg has a flat seat base as the floor pan is different due to the fuel tank being under the rear seat in b series, and e series has the arch for the tunnel so a fill panel or something needs to be made for the base....

I was going to make an MDF enclosure what will bring the seat area up and level to match the base of the FG seat. should work nicely and if there is enough room it might even be a good place for my amps and other bits of audio visual gear. |

Picked up these the other day.. 127 for both sides.
 So now this is out of the shed and back on the spare EL for lots more sanding before finishing.  Just need to find some indicators.. or make something interesting from some other car.. need to make the metal brackets from the EL lights as I didn't get those. will make a new thread about that. |
