UP Date

A while back i spun out and ended up breaking my Front bumper in half and also dening the back one and not to mention 2 nice little dents one in the front panel one on the rear also the chassis rail at the front got a little bent I straightend it out all right but am Scepticle about the car being strait, All because of going to fast in the wet around a corner and fish tailing left to right then a 360 spin into a bank unintentialy. I was supprised that tha car survived as well as it did.

Out of interest are Fat tires s**t in the wet? I had 245 Eagers on the front And 265 Radial TA on the back at the time Sitting on 14inch Tridents.

To come I Have purchesed an ED 4.0l motor with i am going to build up
Looking at doing alot to it to axtract as much ponies as possible but still keeping it street drivable
thing like
pistons
Cam
Valves and Valve Spings
Lifters
Head work
Rods
Possible a bore out?

Then i will look at ether putting it in my Eb or purchesing another.

I what to biuld it to show car standards but not to over the top because it will be a daily driver ideas i have already are
Body: Gloss Black, BA Bulge, Body kit Either SVo or Possiblr Scorcher (I already have the svo skirts) Sacked out on Tridents with Fat Tires

Interior: Possibly EL, BA XR leather seats, Top of the line sounds.

Engine Bay: Black De-loomed?

Hopefuly i will photo graph my progress of the motor

Ok today I removed the sump and oil pump also the timing case and cam gear and chain.
I also gave a couple of the Piston tops a clean just to see what they would come out like. I found the best method for doing this was using CRC 5-56 and a fine stello and it cam up beautiful.

OK today I rang around about 10 wreckers asking for EB-ED XR6 heads but no one had one or even a complete motor. The best they could do me was An EL XR6 But the price was to high around 1200 bucks :x most of them were asking. So that put me off that idea.
Now I am looking at getting a AU XR6 motor for the EB and The ED motor is still going to be rebuilt but i am going to just do rings and a milt Port and Polish and it will go in a XF ute or somthing.

Removed the pistons for cleaning and am getting the block ready for painting I am going with A Gloss black and Gun Metal Grey theme
Sump Grey
Block Black
Rocker cover Grey
TB Grey (And i just painted it blue  )
Extracters Grey/Aluminium.

More to come Tomorow I will ring around about An AU non VCT motor :P :P

just find an AU high compression motor, they have the same output as a ticky motor but will cost less.

im lucky i picked up my EL XR6 hybrid motor for 300 bucks complete lol
