Will be interesting to see how well it all wears.

I am disappointed I won't be there to see it on Saturday.

Hopefully in the near future.

TOTALLY agree, 100%. Only thing is wat should i do? i was thinking of getting it retrimmed in leather, or i could go a momo one but they are hard to find and i want full black. Also the momo ones look wonky where the "spokes" hit the wheel. Theres like a gap. :/

Hey guys,
Ok so list of things to do:
Clear side flashers
Steering wheel
Fix up the bootinstall
Maybes:
Side skirts
Fix between the lights. (BIG STORY WITH THAT ONE!.. the palce i bought the front bar from didnt know there was a difference between the ef/el front. This meant that the bit between the lights didnt fit. My panel beater sprayed it assuming it would fit and it didnt. he rang me saying its a s**t bar and wont fit. i rang thecompany they said they have no idea and would have been happy to replace had it not been sprayed.. I was left in the middle of two mistakes. I got each of them to ring each other and sort it as i shouldnt be left in the lurch because of both of their mistakes....So in the end i got the typhoon rear bar off the companyfor cost price and the panel beater gave me a little off the price. As for the gap i DIYed a mesh insert and chucked a ford oval in)
Im thinking of getting something for there but i thought that it the way it is now, i could get a cold air intake to come from there. :)
CHeers guys

Good stuff man, i have a couple of questions...
What paint did u use to spray the interior??? was it some kind of Vynil paint or normal spray can stuff? and did you clear coat it to slow down the wear?... i've been thinking about doing this myself and am not too sure on those details...
Also... what front bar is that? it looks awesome

Cheers
Mars

Hey mars,
The front bar is the typhoon bar made to fit the e-series. :)
For the interior, just make sureyou clean it reallyreally well. With prepsol or something like it, u can just use turps but u gotta make sure its real clean or itll start to flake and rub off. As for the paint itself, its a vinyl paint, for plastics, vinyl and some carpets. Its called Motospray Vinyl Spray or something like it. Although if you go to AutoOne or Supercheap or something like those youll be bound to find something like it. As for the clear coat, i was thinking about it but for now doesnt loook like itll need it. I strongly recommend having a couple containers or bags and place each type of screw in each - like those for the door trims, etc.But seriously.. Make sure u clean it well and only apply VERY thin layers of paint. I will run and it sux, trust me. :P
CHeers,
CHad

Hey guys question:
The Jim Mock Dev kits, are they worth the money? Are their products good? i was looking at the dev 5 kit. seems to be a good amount of power without any turbo/charger for the money ($5790). What it includes is:

DEV "Street-Fighter" Headers (Extractors), Modified Cat, 2.5" Hi-Performance mandrel bent exhaust system, Hi-Flow Intake Kit, DEV5 Cam kit, valve train modifcations, Vernier adjustable Timing Gear. "Race-Series" Head, extensive porting and head performance alterations to race standard, compression increase and Special valve springs. All installed with new gaskets & seals.

Also,They have a performance reconditioning that comes with the dev kits for an extra $2490.

Do ya reckon i could get such stuff done for cheaper and be able to acquire all the bits myself and then just get a local mechanic to do the work? even with an engine reconditioning and still get a cheaper overall? Im going to look into it this week, just wondering if anyone knows off-hand if thats a good price.

Cheers for any help
CHad
