show a pic of the metal you want to polish. if its like rough , porus hit it with a fcirular /orbital sander with some heavy paper to flatten the metal out

its been a whl!e since i last posted

philip young has mesured the block and said t5her might be a bit of fouling at 20thou so hes taking it to 40thou overbore

pistons are being orderd :)
