Yeh it's pretty relative to the old power curve but just a little more. Definatly needs a cam and valve springs then ill push it to 16 and see what it brings me. The cam should let it rev higher and the power will hold longer up high.

That's the next step, NPC 10.5inch clutch and flywheel then cam and springs and 16psi haha. Good for 400 eh? :D

You'll make 400 easy then! Rofl and it will hold it all day long, be a huge sleeper mate! But 330rwkw is nothing to sneeze at! I so can't wait to see this baby :D

Haha it's hp not kw. I wish it was kw lol

Edit: power in kw is roughly 250 now. The goal for me is 300kw or 400hp by the end of the year or early next yr!

Good idea, want a nice sturdy cam and springs. If you don't mind me asking what are you paying on your tunes? You have had two recently have you got some sort of deal with the tuner ?

He charges 185 an hour. My first tune back in September 2011, over a year ago. Which took 3 hrs and this recent one only took 2 hrs cause it was a re tune and didn't require as much work. He does charge a bit more but doesn't stuff around and gets it done in a good time.

Yeah well he's all the rave up here in QLD, one of the best. It's why I chose him. Wasn't price dependent. I was willing to pay around the 800-900 mark for a tune when it was first getting done anyway. Was a surprise when it only cost me 555. :D

But it really depends on how easy it is to tune. If a car comes in and is missing under boost and isn't ready for the dyno and he has to go changing plugs etc and fixing small things it can delay things and end up spending 4 or 5 hrs of his time which isn't cheap!

What I do is make sure my car has fresh oil and plugs and a full tank of BP ultimate before it goes on the dyno. And anything wrong with it I try and fix and keep up on the preventative maintenance to ensure that there is no hiccups as it will cost more.

what mods are done to yours and where are you getting it tuned?

update:
painted my intake pipe as it had a s**t of surface rust on it and looked pretty seedy:
Image
Image

Also blew an intercooler pipe last night after some spirited driving, the one off the turbo outlet. While i was putting the pipe back on i realised that the silicon joiner had started to crack from the heat of the manifold, gee its only brand new and has barely been on the car for about 3 weeks! So i twisted the hose around so that it was facing in the opposite direction as u can see in the pic below. Went and picked up 2 spare 2.5" joiners incase this starts being a regular occurrence.... might have to figure something out to fix this issue.

Mods are dual 2.5" catback, pacemaker 4495's, under drives, growler and big mouth intake. Not sure if I'm going to worry about putting the venom cat in now, might just wait until end of the year and do it with the cams and LSD, just can gut the stock one and it will flow fine.

Getting it tuned at east coast customs, who say they can have done a couple 200+ fg's in the last 6 months, and they were only single 2.5" and not under driven either, but they did all have the ZF (which does help with the parasitic loss in drivetrain).
