Yeah hopefully. My old time when it had 300hp was 13.48 with under boosting problems and axle tramping on launch which would of slowed me down a fair bit. If I can manage a 13.1 or 13.2 ill be happy.

Works out well if you have most if not all the work done before you go for a tune then, which is what you do. We are trying to do the same so there are minimal hiccups for the tune once it's booked in. Also need to change the oil, plugs and fresh tank of fuel before going.

The intake pipe looks heaps better now, I bought some black metallic vht paint for the cooler pipe so should be interesting to see how that turns out.

Sucks about the silicon joiner on the turbo ! Broke after such little time as well

Maybe heat wrap the hot side piping? It will reduce a little bit of the turbo lag, plus have less heat soak.

Yep that's the plan! I have some spare exhaust wrap I'm going to use. See how I go haha

I really want to wrap my headers, engine bay temps are getting crazy at the moment with this heat. Only problem is each time I go to do them, I have to go somewhere for something stupid... and that 20 minutes of driving means I can't touch the headers for at least 6-7 hours before they cool down enough to wrap... And then there's the fact I can't undo the cat flange bolts cause they're on pretty f**k tight rofl

Daily driver ftw lol it shouldnt take 6-7 hours for it to cool down. A good 3-4 hrs should be fine...
Why do you need to heatwrap your headers? Mine were never wrapped never had a problem, plus i think you will be sick of wrapping it after doing 6 runners haha. I was sick of it after doing my dump and gate pipe. But i did it on the car and no space made it even worse.

Ive got a suzuki vitara aswell so i can afford to have the falcs off the road when needed :P Its reliable as hell too nothing breaks on it :) haha

I might not worry about it for now, but will definitely do it when it comes time for cams. I only wanted to do it because the engine bay heats up far too much during these hotter months. I've already had the temp needle go above half way while in stop start traffic, not cool when heat soak starts coming through the carpet lol

After driving the other day, I had the car in the shade for 4 hours before I had to go out again, and it was still just below operating temps.

Got a new tx valve last week and gassed up my a/c on Saturday. Gets down to 7.1 degrees so good having a turbo e series that's comfortable to drive in this heat!

Lol 7.1 is with the thermometer probe in the vent. Cabin temp will be about the 17-18 degree mark still haha. Most new cars are between 6-8 in the vent.

Ahhhh yeah. Not sure what mine is in the vent. All I know is that it doesn't blow as cold as my BA did, so it might need to be gassed again.

Yeh if you get a thermometer with a probe you'll be able to tell. At work if a car comes in and it's about 8.5 degrees or under we usually would say its working fine and send it on its way. But if its sitting above about 10 then we start to look for problems. Usually low on gas and may have a slight weep from somewhere. Mines leaking from my high pressure line still :( ordered a brand new hose set off the net 175 bucks delivered. Vs 27.50 from wreckers! Haha but atleast it will be good and stay cold.

On a side note I think my clutch is starting to slip under full throttle in 2nd gear.
Don't know if clutch slip or wheel spin. Tacho goes straight to 5500rpm haha
