Mine needs a light cut an polish . Bonnet Vents are starting to fade and bonnet and roof look a bit dull.
Been the opposite down here , too much rain to do anything . Today and Saturday have been then only sunny days this month .

yeah the vx looks mint man i like it.the black is the worst colour to keep clean.i think that white is the most easiest colour to look after. i need to give mine a good wash. my weather strips/red strips have faded down a fair bit so they will need another polish or find some more silicon spray very soon.

hey corey what sort of polish do you use?

Yea I need to spend a whole day washing and polishing mine . Although when it hasn't had a wash it looks really dull , then after a wash it's shiney again .

I've used a few polishes .

Colour x restore - maguiries
Super resin polish - auto glym
Mothers 3 step polish system .

In all honesty they did the same job and had similar results .
Except I stopped using the mothers , still got 3 full bottles . There's just something about it I didn't like. Lol

Uniacidz sent me a link to maguiries site that tells you what to do based on the info you give them . So I'm going with that next time .

It says wash with nxt gen car wash, prep paint with ultimate compound or scratch X ( not sure whether to prep it as it doesn't need cutting back ) then use a polish of your choice , so I have no idea which one lol I was leaning towards the ultimate polish or the deep crystal polish .then use ultimate wax . I may aswell just use all ultimate compound, polish , wax , rather than mix and match .

It creates swirls if polishing too hard but yet can remove light scratches

Well, changed oil and filter and couldnt help myself, washed and quick detailed car.
Under the skid plate lays the sump and oil filter. Gotta say one thing bout chevy engines, they certainly made it real easy. Its just there.

Engine is 6 litres to change, so basically 5 litres oil, 300 mls Additive, 600mls Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabiliser.
Car had done about 7000kms since prior oil change and since i got it.

Pic below shows sump and filter. Damn was easy

does the oil stabilizer make any difference? and whats the additive you used?
