all new bushes are in, and holy f**k it drives like a new car, took it on bumpy roads i hate to drive on and they were great, i go over a bump and cant feel a thing. its like i don't have a rear end, noticed a massive difference changing bushes compared to shocks. i just hope the blokes rebuilding the diff put it back in correctly and don't make the suspension feel s**t again

also no more knocks no more noises, i still have a squeak which is from the brake pads, even the clutch feels better to let out now,

job well done. Did you do the front ball joints, tie rod ends and rack ends atall ?

I returned it because I only brought it for the bushes which it wasn't going to press out and the quality wasn't too good either , I've used many presses and this just felt cheap lol well it was . The press had no chance in doing the bushes , in the end they were heated with oxy and bashed out with a cold chisel .
No local mechanic wanted to do it , and I can see why its a C*** getting them out . My dad did it at work

My dad did it at work we hit some bushes with an oxy the other day and they fell straight out with the tap of a hammer? do you think it would have pressed the bushes in?

It's easy getting the bush out , hardest part is getting the outter sleve out ,
You can use a vise to get the new bushes in with lots of grease

Diff is getting fixed as we speak , went to pick a part today to get the nut for the stub axle so I can actually have it all pulled together and make the bracket , first bracket will be a prototype sorta thing .
Also seen a factory 5 speed ea ghia, was very comfy to sit in

Got a call from the diff place and the cones in the centre are worn. the bearings had failed causing it to whine .
diff will be like New when I get it back . Getting a full rebuild .

Got the car back today , goes much better . No more diff whine , so quiet .except the noise is still there when I let the clutch out quick with low revs, sounds like a clunk . Must just be the gears in the diff meshing .
