yes, you directly fit a btr from an ea2 up to au..
best to get one from ea to ef1, they all still have the dipstick

Do you know if my ecu harness has all the wires ? If not do I just stick the wire in the pin hole ??

Actually excited to get this auto box in , a change will be different . Just finding one is hard. Everyone wants 300 - 400 for a btr . I'm not spending anymore than 250 on a btr with flywheel , converter etc
The reasonably priced ones are interstate ..

up to the end of au3 will fit, but if you get a au box the bellhousing will need to be changed to suit the e series...

Looks like ill be getting an auto box off a mate . He says he's started pulling it out.
Its been sitting still in a Ute for 2 years , was thinking of rebuilding it with this kit .

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 0790866575

Or spend more and get this . But I don't like spending too much on a btr . I just want it to be reliable for 250rwkw

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 0899923732

And will this oil cooler be big enough.?
out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 0936050920

Also making my own shift kit.

i have a torque converter and flywheel you can have for the costly price of shipping and a box to fit them, just done a 5 spd conversion, my auto was shagged. flywheel and converter looked fine.

I had the turbotrana one in my ef and it was pretty harsh .
Im going with the adjustable s5 one . Can the s3 s4 shift kit be toned down ?

no the s3/s4 one is only on off...

i have both in mine, but the s5 one doesnt really do much on boost, it only firmed up shifts off boost, but with the s3/s4 one, on boost shifts are fantastic...
