I'd prefer wet grass than concrete lol
I'd love a garage to pull out my engine.
A bloke at work has offered to let me use his garage to pull my engine out when I change my sump gasket and timing chain. Also going to weld on a fitting for turbo return .

Hey Mat I have those exact mats in my car, you will be able to see the dirt but they are also very, very easy to clean. the carpet is not that stuff where little pieces of dirt can get stuck.

Didn't end up getting the seal as I had no money and phone was flat so couldn't transfer any over .
I checked the yoke and it has no movement which means the bush is good .
Oil is definatly leaking from the seal . I'm thinking of trying another other oil first . Ill get Castrol dex 3 . Maybe the above i got is too thin or a s**t oil. It was $10 for 1L . Or maybe just change the seal . It's going to be on jack stands anyway .

I just hate tail shaft bolts . Definatly going to use the rattle gun on them .
On thing I noticed is my seal is metal with a rubber boot thing for the tail shaft yoke . Where as the seal I took from another t5 I have is full rubber ?

looked in the manual, you need dex11D for the box,i didnt think they used trany oil   may explain a few box failures.

Don't u dex 3 ?

I've looked into fitting a tko 600.
It's $2778+$50 post .
Extreme clutch $810 . Has a ceremic sprung centre ?
Also will need a ba flywheel .

Shouldn't cost me anymore if I fit it myself .
