Just buy turbosmart from a trusted seller mate . Or a shop . Get the biggest you can afford mate . Plug socks are a good idea to . Better to do it right the first time mate . Weld it on now before it all goes on .

awesome. i skimmed the turbo pics last page then realised they're on a manifold. you work well. I guess no licence does give you time. Go easy with the boost, don't want to lose that licence again!

The ghia's good. I'll put a thread up on it soon. I sold my XR8 to bryce, so he's now back in another e-series. Marty is also looking at another falcon, but AU onwards. It'd be his missus daily/his weekender
it's crazy times up here!

Sounds crazy u guys going from e series to e series lol

I want to run 14 psi seeing as the motor will be the weak link .
I'm looking at a tial waste gate , I'd have to cut and weld on a new flange as it uses a v band .
It's purple so will be an odd colour in the engine bay lol

I don't really have any extra time, Just have no use for a car so it can be pulled apart without worrying .

I've seen ur video sounds awesome .
So as long as its off boost it will be quiet .?
Feed line is all hooked up. Except at the turbo . It's a bit tight over the rocker cover so ill have to add 2 sockets ayt the turbo .

Need a shorter drain its too long . Using the rubber hose for now .
Pics up soon . Also got a magnetic sump plug .

Took the turbo apart to turn the core so the inlet fitting was closer to the hose .

yeah we are. At least i didnt give up on them! I would have kept the XR8 but it would have cost too much to get it to ghia level

Thats definately an upside to not driving. You don't have to rush to get stuff done & driveable for work.
Have you got another engine if this goes bang?

Btw, purple just means you're "sensitive" :P
