Had to shorten the centre of the offset lever .
I cut it in half and moved the centre of the hole in 15 mm . Now have to weld it back together. Anyone know how to weld forged steel with a tig ?

Reason I did it is because the ls1 shifter hangs over the back of the box , the shifter I used is from a camaro. So I would off needed a camaro offset lever . The one I modified was a gto offset lever

i flipped the manifold and most bolts line up, didnt have time to check the rest.
will have to spin the core around, and get a longer drain. turbo sits pretty close to the rocker cover, id like to have the comp wheel facing down but it hits the rocker cover, im thinking ill extend the turbo flange .

looking at the comp wheel it looks like i cant have it facing down, just if the outlet was on the other side, i need a left handed comp housing lol

you could just use a 90 degree bend off it in that position . or make up a spacer to bring the turbo further out

I had a 90 degree bend but I wanted it bit lower so it clears the intake I'll definitely need a spacer plate or modify the manifold as I didn't tighten it up and now it's tight the comp housing hits the rocker cover and only points up

or i might cut the flange off and get some 3mm x 50mm stainless flat bar to extend it .

After doing some research I've discovered that a 2004 mustang 11" clutch has a bolt circle hole ( yank terminology) of 12-3/8 or 12.375" , which is equal to 314.xx mm .
I measured my flywheel is it has the exact bolt hole circle . also has 6 Not sure what the pcd is but i can drill new holes or make ones bigger . So this mustang clutch should fit. As long as I stay on the bolt hole circle , it will stay balanced I'm going with a stage 2 organic rated to 510 hp / 487 foot pounds, I could go with a multi friction but driveabilty would be zero lol Its only going to set me back $400 from the states http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 0964592444 Also welded my offset lever together Made a turbo flange

the offset lever worked great , selects all gears, just need to weld on a tab so it hits the reverse lockout solenoid, reverse and 5th are very close to each other, hate to go into reverse instead of 5th.
ill be chopping off the gear stick and welding or bolting on my one so i can use my gearknob.

I found out the pcd of the mustang clutch , it's 6-5/16" which is 160.xx mm very close to my measurement on.the flywheel which was 157 mm. So the mustang clutch is going to fit straight on .
Sent seller a message on postage and its $149 not $228. So it's going to cost me $193.30 + 149 = 342.30, not bad for a clutch that is said to hold 510 hp . See how it goes .

modified the manifols so the turbo is now high mount and clears the rocker cover.
wasnt too keen on cutting off the old flange because it has a lot of welds holding it on, so i stead i welded the flange i made to the existing flange but had it on a angle. then i cut out 3mm stainless plate to fill the gaps, welded it all on the inside and its strong as, also found a crack on the outside of the manifold which il weld up. i put a few tacks as you can see in the pic but ill grind them flat and use the tig to tack it .
