I didnt set them to any torque , just nipped them up evenly so the housing went on square .
The housing is only alloy so I wouldn't go anymore than 15-20 Nm . This morning I took the manifold off , smeared the ultra copper on both sides of the multi layered gasket . I'll start it tomorrow and hope it don't leak .

This after noon I connected up the braided return line and welded in a bung for o2 sensor .
Went to start it but battery was flat , didn't want to jump start either Maybe a sign the silicon isn't dry lol So it's on charge all nite . Tomorrows plan is to get cooler mounted and piping done. And start it with no leaks .

well today didnt go as planned, started the car and tractor noise, so i ripped off the manifold and pu a straight edge on it, its warped like a banana lol 3-5 mm warped, so im getting it machined flat.
i cut holes in the body for cooler pipes , so im getting the slowly, plan is to get manifold machined through the week , have it on before weekend the on saturday plumb up and weld cooler pipes.

I put my rubber drain hose back on , the braided one must have a split in the Teflon and it feels wet and oily .
Getting my turbo manifold machined this week . I got some alloy strip to mount my intercooler .

My clutch fits the flywheel , its a perfect fit . Now to get the turbo set up finished , gearbox in and test it .
Which side goes on the flywheel ? One side is organic the other metallic Powergrip Performance Clutch sets MUSCLE CAR PERFORMANCE TO 550 HORSEPOWER As power levels move up to and beyond 500 horsepower. RAM POWERGRIP meets the challenge with a combination of organic and metallic disc friction surfaces that effectively increase the clutch capacity to the 550 horsepower level. The 8-spring hub is equipped with RAM POLYCOIL damper springs encapsulated in polyurethane. This spring can handle three times the shock load of just the coil spring, and is standard in all RAM competition discs. The RAM Competition pressure plate in this kit provides 30% more clamp pressure than stock, and meets SFI specifications. At this high level of performance RAM POWERGRIP provides surprisingly good driving characteristics with smooth, comfortable driver control.

I got bored of them , didn't think they suited the car so I got dark agents .
Dam big brakes , I want smaller wheels for the sleeper look , I have to redo the brakes forengineering so ill make them fit under 16 rims even if I have to machine / grind the fins on the caliper . I got my manifold back ,ill put it on the sarvo, then finally progress will be made

I think I made a f**k up with spinning the manifold. The bolt holes stil line up but the ports don't match up .
There to the right about 10 mm . Have to think what I'm going to do . I'll start it and see if it leaks . If it doesn't ill probably just leave it .
