Yeah not sure if it was the problem just giving ya options. Though was thinking maybe if coolant was low etc

bugger mate . i reckon the aux gear broke . take the rocket cover off and put a torch down the front of it and you will see the gear prob at an angle .

something is f**k , smoke blows out the exhaust , its not blue its white grey, theres metal in the oil, its all gritty and sparkles under light .

That motor is rooted. I reckon they will be a couple of cracked pistons in there at least.

Faark lol I may aswell go forged bottom end while it's out , sick of spending money on it . I get it running and it just f**k up again . How can I crack a piston . I only made 10 psi . Unless tune was that bad . I back fired a few times but I only reved it to 4000rpm then backed off .
Not saying I didn't crack a piston , that engine is f**k lol just can't believe it happened so easy .

I think ill get a fresh standard engine . Swc set up will be a start , then get forged pistons n s**t later .
Doing a forged bottom end properly will cost a fair bit which I don't want to fork out atm . Although a guy on boosted is selling a forged bottom end brand new for $1350 . Located in dubbo . I'm tempted .

So just say I got a au block , fg xr6t rods , Bf xr6 t pistons, what's a rough price on getting it balanced and getting it to run properly .?
