It doesn't have one but I could buy one, along with a wide band o2 for DIY tuning .
Is DIY road tuning hard ? Might give it a go .

Will you need a full e series engine gasget kit w headbolts? Im selling mine since I dont need it now. Get a quote of what its all worth and ill sell you mine a bit cheaper?

He only needs the Headgasket and headbolts. I gave him a sump gasket and timing case gasket set.

I'll be getting a thicker gasket from ACL , also ill buy head studs .
Got the bottom end down from Swc's . Me and a mate lifted it up into a wheel barrow and put it up the back . f**k was it heavy lol

Me and Paul came to a theory as to what happened to my engine , pretty much it was only just getting enough fuel at 8 psi due to the stock reg . When I changed the spring I increased it to 10 psi . Where the fuel reg couldn't supply enough pressure . Leaned out and motor stuffed , so I now have a au fuel rail and a 400 kpa fuel reg .
motor and box will come out, stripped down and inspect carnage , then ill build new motor and drop in t56 .

ACL do a 1.6mm Copper Gasket as well as 1.0mm Copper.

so is copper better than the multi layered steel gasket??
should i get the 1.6 or would that lower comp too much ?

So here's the plan with the car .
I'm going to take a month off work over xmas . I'll use this time to get what I can done . Picking up an engine crane through the week and will get the motor and box out next weekend coming . motor will have spool rods ACL pistons 0.5 mm over size ACL bearings New timing chain , guides and vernier gear new water pump havnt decided on head gasket yet but it will be thicker than standard to lower comp . The head and cam will remain the same Will also have a 6 speed gearbox , mustang clutch . I'll be getting a alloy radiator and replacing other bits n pieces . With the tune I want to go to someone with experience In tuning microtech and someone that is familiar with the sohc 4.0l. Ill travel to Sydney for a tune . so if anyone knows a good tuner with above experience let me know

Plenty of good tuners out there and i would use Croydon Autosports as Jim is a very expirienced and competent tuner. There is also JEM, Autotech and Motor Tech out your way...
Who is going to machine and assemble your engine? I would personally use Howard rod and CP piston but spool do the job

It's already built except it has standard rods , replacing them with spool rods and getting it balanced

I would not take my car to Motortech. He fleeces people for unnecessary work big time.

Jem ( just engine management) in ingleburn look good , he has kits for fg turbos . And he tunes microtech .
