those marks look like they are from rotating the engine with no assembly lube or dry rotating after assembly..??

i would replace them anyway...

bearings are cheap just throw em, looks like what troyman said has happend,

So I should get some ACL race bearings ? I wonder if the cranks the same ?

Why dont you get it checked and atleast linnished?

My 10/10 grind cost somewhere around $80 from memory.

The bearings are standard has std stamped on them .gonna get all new ones .

got the motor and box out, stripped motor down. didnt look too bad but when i had a closer look :shock: :shock:

Maybe his worked better than mine lol

to think how hot it must of been to melt , u can see the boost pressure blowing away the piston .
Definatly not happening again after I get a good tune and fit a 400 kpa fuel reg .

Hard part will be putting back the engine correctly . I'll be triple checking everything .

One thing I found on top of the block there's a hole which goes 90 degrees in behind the timing cover with a small looking hla thing .
