those marks look like they are from rotating the engine with no assembly lube or dry rotating after assembly..??
i would replace them anyway... |

The bearings are standard has std stamped on them .gonna get all new ones .
What does linishing do ?

got the motor and box out, stripped motor down. didnt look too bad but when i had a closer look

Maybe his worked better than mine lol
to think how hot it must of been to melt , u can see the boost pressure blowing away the piston . Definatly not happening again after I get a good tune and fit a 400 kpa fuel reg . Hard part will be putting back the engine correctly . I'll be triple checking everything . One thing I found on top of the block there's a hole which goes 90 degrees in behind the timing cover with a small looking hla thing .

F**k, that doesn't look good. Will be good to get a good strong engine in with a decent tune..
