Cut out the holes for the plenum . Is it worth gutting out the bbm ? Like cutting that bit out in the middle and make it one big hole .

It's getting there . Nothing is open until next week so I can't get any aluminium round bar to make threaded lugs , which will be welded over the holes and bolts will come up through the bottom, bolting it to the intake manifold

Ive got some Maverick seats coming in tomorrow (if the f**k truck turns up!) that should pretty much bolt straight in.
Feel free to come and check them out if you want.

Have some bad news , started looking into my future and not sure if ill have a job in 6 months . So I don't want to spend too much more money on this and then have no income and be broke .
I've decided to sell everything except the t56 which will go in the car .
I may keep the rods and pistons . Who knows if things pick up and I get a good paying job I will
Continue the build . But for now I need to sell some parts and return it to stock .

It's hard to do but I've had fun in it , it will still be the same car just won't be as fast lol
Ill put up a f/s thread soon .

Dude. Don't do it!! Get a second hand motor and put it back in with all your old turbo gear! Standard motors can handle heaps with the right tune. If you do sell your bits use that money for a good tune with a second hand motor and keep it like that till you know your job is all good. Just sayin :P

You don't owe any money on your car do you??

Sucks about the job man. But surely you'll be able to land another one given 6 months?

Cheers,
Corbin

I own the car but am paying off a personal loan , only have $2000 left on it .
I haven't thought too much into keeping it , the thing that will cost me the most is the engine machining .

That is an idea , buy a second motor then turbo it low boost , until I get a better paying job then start building the new one up .
It would seem easier to finish it then return it to stock , I've done so much work on it .

I want to get into the mines , I'm a fitter / turner bridging over to diesel mechanic so surely I can get a job over in wa.
