Got the bleed nippe for the clutch , before I was using a very small ball valve but it kept letting in air . So I drilled at tapped into some key steel to screw in a bleed nipple off a caliper but it was seating properly and leaked . So now I have this .
Need a spring for my throttle body , so it springs back all the way .

Started and drove it today 100 m up the road and back a few times .
It was smokey on start up but eventually went away . Idle is pretty rough and runs rich . The 6 speed feels heaps good , the clutch is either on or off u can ride it a bit but cos it's not tuned it stalls easy , once I let it out the thing takes of so quick I just got out of vacuum and I can feel it pulling . Clutch pedal needs bleeding again have to push it right to the floor for it to disengage .

I got a new starter motor .im pretty sure the old one is stripped , I can hear it spinning but motor isn't cranking .
The one I got is smaller and lighter than the original . It's Bosch and has more torque than standard . Also getting a optima yellow top . Shouldn't have a issue cranking after that's s done

It looks the goods, wonder if it will clear the pressure plate . The starter that's in there needed some metal off the spigot to clear the pressure plate .

Put the new starter in and had to cut a little slot for the pressure plate . Starts alot better . I found the cause of my clutch issues , my pedal isn't getting a full stroke . The Carpet and underlay stops it .
So I'm going to bend the pedal up . Only need 15mm of travel to get a full stroke . Other than that just needs a tune then it's ready for power cruise .

ef_falcon_95 wrote: So I'm going to bend the pedal up . Only need 15mm of travel to get a full stroke. Is that at the pedal ??? The BA clutch master (at it's piston) has a travel of 34mm.This link might be of help http://www.onallcylinders.com/2013/07/0 ... ic-clutch/ BA pedal ratio is around 5.2:1. Overall length is 303mm, plunger distance 58mm from the specs in the article above. It might be better to remount the cylinder slanting slightly downwards and drill a new plunger mounting hole - bear in mind it gives you more travel for the same pedal movement, but lowers the ratio, making more foot effort. Bending the pedal might make it look out of place - I've a similar situation designing an E series setup now - I have found taking a bit off the back of the pedal shaft, behind the pad, and strengthening it with more plate to the side, gives me about 10 - 12 mm more travel (at the pedal).

I left some info out . What I meant to say was I only need 15 mm of stroke until the piston bottoms out . I've already bent it today , I'm fitting it soon so will post up how it goes .
